Quotebuffalo7478 Quoteschwonek Quotempj200 Not amps or guitars yet, but all down the line. Time for a new opener. Have they ever opened with All Down The Line? That would be a GREAT opener! no! It might work for for die-hard fans at a club show. But it surely won't work in a huge open air venue. Even at Berlin Waldbühne most audience members didn't react to the song (or reacte

Quotetrevormcmullin It would be nice if someone was able to confirm what city they are rehearsing in at least. I know studio name is not allowed but somewhere in the USA isn’t good enough. We are all here because we want to know who cares? I'd rather be interested in what they rehearse, not where!

QuoteRollingFreak Ticket prices are surprisingly reasonable in LA. Worst seats are $42 after fees, next level up is $70 after fees, next is $125 after fees. Then you obviously get the ridiculous $200+ premium options, though there are some $150 and $185 seats in there as well that aren't absurd. I'm still gonna wait for a setlist before committing to that price, but $125 or less for

QuoteRollingFreak Quoteslewan it's a pity he tour Europe before the release of his new album… True, though its hard to tell how big this release will really be. Smaller tour would make sense in general for this, which in itself would feel exclusively US anyway, regardless of if he'd just been to Europe or not. I wouldn't expect this to get much traction with him when he's alre

QuoteRollingFreak Brian sounds great on that. He should do more of that kind of singing instead of trying to reach back into his youth for AC/DC stuff he can't really pull off anymore. Still has a voice, just has to be in the right range for the right thing. this recording is part of a new Slash album featuring blues covers here's the official video of Killing Floor =>

QuoteMuddyw Well, with the exception of Mocambo there is no hope on a decent, well mixed and produced live album release. There is really something completely off on the sound and production, based on the samples on QoBuz. If you listen to Thru and Thru, the backup vox sound terrible (not the singing, only the sound), and the guitar by Keith sounds really recorded through an old radio without

a few impression after I watched maybe the half of it. - it's amazing how young everybody looks (except for Neil Young who is shown in the audience right at the beginning and who looks quite old) - Hand of Fate – seems like there is a shortage of power somewhere in the middle… where's the energy the song requires? - a lot of posing by our guitar heros, less playing though… -

QuoteMathijs On several Licks shows I noticed they had a habit of smoking big joints before or during the show. At Vredenburg Keith smoked a big joint on stage (considered quite childish in The Netherlands...), and 10 minutes later he was completely out of it, hardly being able to play guitar. At Olympia you could see Wood smoke a joint backstage, and he was just completely out of it during the

Quotebuffalo7478 I am really hoping they add several songs from Hackney Diamonds to their setlists for the upcoming tour. I am doubting they can handle a 24-25 song show anymore, and will have to replace some regulars. My pick: Add: Angry (not my fave song from the record, but it's the single) Sweet Sounds Of Heaven Tell Me Straight (Keef needs something new) Bite My Head Off Rep

QuoteWuudy Quoteslewan sounds much like Lou Reed in his later years. Thus not very original… Well, it is a cover so by definition not original. Same goes for their early work but doesn't mean it is not great to listen to. I ment 'not very original' in the sense that Keith doesn't add or change anything significant. He just does the song like Lou Reed used to do it.

Quotemosthigh Hope he still does some theatre shows on the West Coast. you should give up hope. There's simply no time frame for theatre shows on the West Coast. The summer tour(s) will be the Outlaw shows which run until mid September and in (later) fall it's rather likely that he'll tour Europe instead of doing another US tour
