There were some more mistakes in Austin compared with the shows from middle of the tour. But generally I agree with Doxa. Yes if you look carefully all three Stones look sometimes tired during this tour, especially in the last third. But that's expected. We are happy to hear and see them. At the same time they should be conservative about future shows. That said it is their

QuoteDoxa What's the drama here? Yeah, Keith's solo in "Sympathy" is a bit sloppy, but still a manifestation of his 'less is more' playing philosophy with some odd dramatic pauses. Every hit should matter. An artistic choice. The dude's having a show, and interacting with an audience, having fun with that iconic solo spot. He's smiling and knows what he is

QuoteJustin I think they over-extended themselves a bit with the number of dates--as small as it is. Quantity eventually effected quality. Apparently, less than 10 shows is the way to go. Not sure if it's financially sound to do such a short tour but it's clear that Keith needs it to be a shorter tour so he can deliver consistently. Not gonna make a huge deal out of it. Who kno

QuoteJustin Take away the lead work on Sympathy and Satisfaction and that would fix most of the issues. Those moments are screwing up the vibe in the room. And it looks to me like Keith himself would prefer not to take those solos anymore. He seems happiest playing rhythm. JJF, STU, MR all were perfectly fine last night. But he did these solos fine on many shows this fall.

They can do some shows in Europe and anniversary shows in London next year. Then it's up to them, but they should be conservative with the future. It's best to stop while you are still great.

QuoteHairball Quotepowerage78 Awful Keith playing during Sympathy. Empty eyes, staggering gait, Keith is totally lost here. He seems not to know what to do. And instead of a solo, a totally incoherent sound mush. Sad to see. Concerning...maybe one of the reasons for the short setlist? Dallas had the 18 song setlist during the rain which is somewhat understandable, but Austin.... wond

Keith was a bit tired. But no big deal. Majority of songs and riffs (if I can judge from YT) was very good. some songs were awesome (Rambler, Start me up ... ) There were some mistakes in sympathy but not catastrophic. He sometimes played on wrong fret, maybe the darkness or cold contributes to that. That said, they should be conservative with planning the future of the band. Next year sh

Quotestargroover An amazing gig!The guys full of energy, smiles and what a performance! The Best of the tour maybe? Keith is a bit tired. But no big problems and no big impact on his playing. He is awesome, given the conditions.

Some songs have slight mistakes. But no problem. This Start me Up sounds great to me (and usually Start Me Up is not my most preferred song to hear live :-))

Just saw this on YouTube. It's not bad, actually it is decent performance and I like creedence Clearwater revival's songs. But it reminds how great the Rolling stones still are. I agree with the above.

I looked at the videos and Keith was playing OK for the most of the show.I do not think anything is wrong with him.

I do not agree. Especially Keith's setup fits his style perfectly. No need to change.

Good characteristics. A surge of rock'n'roll (great rock'n'roll) raging against the dying of the light. I hope this surge won't be that short. They are playing very well.

QuoteRocktiludrop Why can't Mick sing Shattered, this is terrible, hopefully down to the cell phone recording, guitars were pretty good though, nice solo from Ronnie. Just hope Mick isn't suffering from the desert gig. She's A Rainbow . Mick saving voice a little ? Mick is singing OK on those tunes.

They are awesome. Steve Jordan now fits much better in the sound. He is lower in the mix, and does not hit the drums that hard.

Quoteharlem shuffle Keith is still a good rythmplayer, but soloing no,please no more solos from Keith. He is not able to do that anymore.Probably because of his fingers. But the rythm and the riffs works good anyway Some solos, like the one in Honky tonk women, sound very well and I am glad he does it.

QuoteProfessorWolf i have a question with all this talk about how the cd sounds has anyone got the cassette how does it sound in comparision i imagine as a analog format it would sound similar to the vinyl The cassette tapes sounded a bit different too, they've got a bit of distortion but that type of distortion is perceived as euphonic by many.

I am (currently) the Itunes's subscriber. Tattoo You is a great re-release content-wise. But considering the mastering, I must support the statements that see the current mastering as brickwalled and more artificially sounding. It can be listened well in the car/on the radio/in earphones, but for home listening on loudspeakers, I prefer the original CD releases any day. Unfortunately, th

Don't miss the mic share in 19th Nervous Breakdown and Ronnie's hilarity in the Band Intros Videos are a bit bouncing around (I don't watch the concert through the camera lens, I hold it slightly to side) I tri

Keith is playing very well this fall. Perfect timing, decent riffing ;-) Of course we cannot compare with his youth but that would make no sense.

Is it just my impression that Mr. Jordan now does play softer than before? This seem to be decent version of Let it Bleed.
