Given FLAC ubiquity today there is little reason of using WAV for common tasks. The sound quality is the same.

Just bought DVD+CD today. Great record musically. The recording is not brickwalled much and sound quality is excellent. Thanks to Rolling Stones and their team!

Thank you very very much! I see that the archive is bigger than original 24 bit posted, the files are also bigger(i do not know why), but the FLAC format is correct 24/44.1 and playback seems to be perfect! Edit: foobar shows higher bitrate for the new files. Maybe this explains the bigger file size technically , but the difference in size between posted 24/96 and 24/44.1 (24/44.1 sh

No need for me to burn them to cd and if so, I can easily do it from 24.44/1 flac by simple low-shibata dithering. But having them in 44.1 would save at least one, maybe even two resampling stages compared to original source tape (that you posted).

Can you compress them to flac ? this does not change 24/44.1 any way.

P.S. of course only if it does not make any problems, it is anyway great to have a remaster done by fans from GREAT concert available in any audibly transparent format And also we have to thank again the RS for wonderful show!

Yes, if it is possible to have 24/44.1 kHz WAV (that is on picture) or the same FLAC it would be great, as the master is is this format and there is no hard need to upsample to 96 kHz. Great to have 24 bit, though!

And can you please post it in 24/44.1 format ? No hard need for upsampling to 96 kHz ....

Great post. Thank you very much. Long rolling the Stones! Only one small caveat ... 24/96 version is sonically OK and very good that you posted in 24 bit too. But it contains no frequencies above 22 kHz e.g. can be easily posted in 24/44.1 only with no information loss.

Well, Plundered my soul is a great tune. Fancy groove, nice lyrics. Great tempo! But sadly we can hear how much Micks voice is deteriorated now. He signs with amazing amount of energy, however the tone is missing a little.

Anyway you look at it ... I think that Keith is going to surprise us. He looks aged a little bit, but i do not think that his fingers are going to prevent him from playing his style of guitar performances. He has always been an incredible person and I believe that the positive energy flow from him to his fans and anybody listeing to the stones music is far from finished.

Have been reading through your posts. Nice hints and thoughts, however, one more to add. The Stones without a doubt still rock, and even the most doubtful member Keith Richards still has the human riff. In doubt? Listen to Start Me Up intro from the last tour. No one starts this song like KR does. It is of no value to judge current Stones by the criteria of new bands, novelty of genre, or mus

hello, folks, I have been reading through various reviews and opinion on both Shine a light movie and crtiticms of the Stones performing today .The vast majority of the criticism is based on comparative method. Either with other band or current trends, or with the Stones in the seventies. Well, the only thing (IMHO) that should be considered is the change of Keith Richards playing. it is s

Hey, folks there has been a debate recently about Keith able to perform. Apart from great You Got the silver, which does justify his ability to sing, just listen to The solos are great and crisp (from 1:28). Well, Keith has some off-nights, but he is able to perform without doubts. John

Hope Keith will surprise once again. Well, except of natural aging, I think he still holds the axe strong.

Thanks for support, rebelrebel. Well, I started with the age think because I think that is natural - no disorder. Simply put - 60 yrs old could have slower reactions that 40 yrs. Maybe they would have to slow down the tempo for some fast songs - even that would be acceptable, just the same does Dylan, Macca and many others. And maybe Keith just ages faster because of his lifestyle and booze.

I do not know if this is good or bad. They played differently at their 20ties, 30ties, 40ties ... and they play differently now. Being slower can be natural aging, it does not have to be connected with some particluar disorder. Of course Keith has taken a lot of booze and things, so this adds up. But I think now he has pretty good doctors to alleviate the effects of this. John

I do no think so. All I wanted to say that you maybe should not expect from 63 old man such energetic performance as it was 5-6 years ago. But is it a problem? John

Hello folks, I have been reading thoroughly your posts. And I watched some of the videos from the recent shows, looking forward to Brno which I am going to visit in person. Well, to conclude - the main problem of Keith playing now is that he plays and reacts slower. I would add this to his age - why cannot we accept this? Remember Dylan, Clapton ... - Other things, like occasional flubs

I am Czech IORRian :-) not worthy to translate as a whole, basically this article cites Ronnie Wood, that they owe Europe some shows, so they will take a break over Christmas and then will return, "maybe as soon as next year". It is also stated that the concert could took place in Brno outdoors, because Brno does nbot have large indoor arena. The event is currently "discusse
