In the Book Old Gods Almost Dead they say that the stones actual performance on SNL wasnt very good and was only showed once. On the West Coast Broadcast they used the Dress Rehrerssal Tape and thats the one used every time that episode is re ran. i just remembered seeing the set list from Knebworth, they opened with satisfactin there. how random. speaking of gutsy, that show was pretty gutsy. they brought back a lot of old songs for that show that they didn play all tour. it was really long.

Use of the songs i mentioned themselves are not gutsy, but the placement of them. opening with your signature song, you run the risk of being very cheesy, but they made it work, it was cool. a bold descision on their part.

rarities has some good stuff. I like a lot of it, but the remixes of mixed emotions and harlem shuffell blow chunks IMO. the remix of miss you and dance part 2 im kind of ambivelent about kind of ambivelent about the live Mannish Boy. The number of people out on the streets was down I guess this year, but poll numbers supporting the war and supporting bush are at an all time low. I think the approval for the war is 29% hopefully this has some impact and is a sign things will change for the better.
