It seems to me that a whole load of bollocks is talked about guitars. There are so many variables that goes into making a great tone. the player, the amp, the pick, the pick ups, the strings, the wood used for the guitar, the construction of the amp cabinet, wood used for the amp cabinet, type of construction of the guitar, etc etc. Expensive guitar doesn't necessarily mean better guitar. QuoteBliss QuoteGumbootCloggeroo QuoteBliss QuoteGumbootCloggeroo QuoteBliss QuoteRokyfan QuoteBliss The question is..do you want to see MT with the Stones again, for as long as the band continues? If the answer is NO, by all means, carry on with these criticisms of his performance. They are sure to have the desired effect. What? You think what is said here has an iota of influence over

QuoteDuane in Houston Quotediannelebolt Disappointing. Where was Blondee Chapman? where was the horn section, bobby keyes? the set was bland. they may as well have been palying in a highschool auditorium. What a horrible dull opening compared to what I am used to. Maybe they should quit while they are ahead. and I am an avid Stones fan. I'm not disappointed as I thought it would be li

Hey Bliss. Yes of course we want to see him again. Like I said earlier it's observation and not criticism. I'm sure the Stones are able to make their own mind up about Mick T without us lot.

Quotevirgil I was curiuos if anybody sat in or heard from anyone who sat in a seat that said possible restricted view. I would like to know what kind of view they actually had & how far around the back of the stage did these seats go. Virgil I was in the Sky bar to the side and rear of stage. I couldn't see the screens but I had a great view of the stage and saw all the action at the g

Quoteliddas I love the band with Taylor immensely, just a slightly little less than the band with Wood and the one with Jones. As I wrote somewhere else, those who criticize Taylor's playing with the Stones last night, don't know nothing about music and human beings in general. Taylor playing Rambler was a dream come true. C Well Liddas it wasn't a criticism on my part,

I just want to say thank you for a superb evening of Rock'N'Roll. I'm so glad I went...I would have been kicking myself for missing it. One love. It's good to be anywhere but it was particularly good to be there on Sunday.

We were watching from the balcony to the side and rear of the stage and my girlfriend who is really into her pilates and yoga commented that Keith looked as though he struggles with his mobility and didn't move around very well. Having said that I was just glad he was there and to my mind played a blinder.

Ok for me I was really pleased to see MT come out and play......and that's the problem he didn't really. He moved around the stage in a kind of 'look at me' kind of way and didn't pay enough attention to his playing which was often off time and in the wrong key. He kind of spoiled it for me trying to take over and dominate the stage. To me he made himself look a bit of a

Listen folks you got the Stones what more do you want? They could have played Popeye the sailor man for all I care. So freakin' what if it's a set full of War Horses. I didn't bother me. What we got was a set that appealed to both diehards and also the more casual fan.

That show was really good. I think I had tears in my eyes for the 1st 4 or 5 numbers. It went by so quickly. Loved Out of Control and the two new numbers. The sound was a bit crappy to sart with..(I was on the Sky Bar Balcony). MR was excellent although it felt like Mick Taylor was trying to upstage Mick... Wow, wow and wow. I'm so glad I went.

They can really go f**k themselves at £406 per ticket. I can buy another guitar for that amount of money and play all their songs to myself and probably get far more enjoyment out of it. I am fiscally not satisfied!!

Quotestonesnow QuoteMightyStonesStillRollin50 Quotemicawber QuoteHopeYouGuessMyName I am alway looking forward to new songs. So here is the question. Will Universal (and/ or the Stones) be greedy and NOT allow the two songs to be purchased individually on iTunes or will they be creeps and insist that we buy a 3 cd set to pick up two singles? I am aware that I have the freedom to not purc

Quotemelillo WHAT A DISASTER , this is what we waited 7 years for? My point exactly. I hope someone from the "organisation" read this board and perhaps we get something that was actually worth waiting for. What they need is a decent manager a) to keep them in line and b) to tell them what to do.

I haven't posted on here for ages but as an ex fan I am seriously pissed off that they can't get off their lazy skinny backsides and give us something decent like a new record.... even if it's a covers album of their favourite tunes. They must think I'm f**kin' stupid that I would even think of buying a record with a friggin' ape on the front that contains all the so
