Hank and Tommy still hold the record for most home runs by two brothers. Of course, Hank did the heavy lifting with 755 dingers, while Tommy chipped in a lusty 13 round trippers.

One of the best, both on and off the field. Saw him play with Milwaukee in the early Sixties and with a different Milwaukee team in the Seventies. Wonderful gentleman.

And, The Packers step all over Tennessee to prepare for an interesting game on Sunday: Bears need a win for the playoffs and Packers need a win for the #1 seed and a bye. Packers scored the first 19 points of the game and the last 21. Buckle up Buttercup.

Saw both bands at Milwaukee County Stadium within a month of each other in 1975. Definitely a contrast.

On Her Majesty"s Secret Service had a great instrumental title sequence and, of course, Louis Armstrong. Diana Rigg and Telly Savalas with some good winter action scenes also make this one work. I even like Lazenby and his humor. Not Connery, but better than Moore (who should have been better, given his The Saint series role).

My first show out of my hometown, complete with Lemmy and Stacia. A most interesting show with a new band called Kansas opening for them.

Much better chance of them jamming with the other opener, Rufus with Chaka Khan.

The Pack dispatched the Lions with some ease after a shaky defensive start. Both Aarons are playing quite well...Dem Packerz!

Being from Wisconsin, I've seen CT dozens of times over the years in all types of venues, large and small. They are always entertaining. Back in college, I often walked past Bun E. Carlos on the way to campus(where I had classes with Joan Cusack) and he always waved hello.

The Braille Blues Daddy has joined the cosmos. Bryan Lee played on Bourbon Street for decades and always had tasty blues licks.

We were on the "lawn" for the first two shows and second row for the Monday show. It rained a bit Friday, but was definitely not a muddy mess - a bit wet, but you're outside. They played Alpine because there were three open dates and a good-sized venue (~40,000)near two large cities. We had hoped to sleep in the parking lot, but no dice, so we slept on a side street in East Troy in

Loved Creem, especially Lester Bangs and the letters section. Charles Bukowski's "review" of a Stones show was priceless. Boy Howdy indeed

Give me a break. Hate their country? Most are just trying to get by and love their country more than most, they just want change, usually for the better (like most of the world's youth). As far as cartography skills, old and young Americans seem to have difficulty with their geography.

Interesting article. I've always enjoyed his performance when I've seen it: Top Secret, Real Genius, The Saint and my favorite, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. He plays the snarky detective to the hilt.

He played a show at Luther's Blues (Madison WI) and, midway through the set, he strolled into the audience during a guitar solo and proceeded down the stairs and out to University Avenue still playing a rip roaring guitar. Incredible musician.

I saw him once at a club in Madison with my sister (we both loved Tattoo as our gateway) and a friend who was unfamiliar with his music. After a wonderful performance, we were walking out and we asked our friend what she thought of the show. She stated, "you didn't tell me we were seeing a psychedelic band"...Whaaa? My sister and I just laughed.
