Thank God I am me. And now I chooose to play the shit out of it. The most agggresive Stones-album ever made. The one and only album that you cant give to the local band at the pub. The guitars are too...much, many, rich, complicated and raw and lovely! But I deeply respect other opinions. Forum: Tell Me
Ah, thank GOD! MrEcho. I agree with every word. What the hell is wrong with people? Raw and dirty! Those guitars...Winning Ugly...How the hell does Keith do that? And I can go on..My favourite album to play along to. Forum: Tell Me
Yes, you are right, Javadave. And even recorded albums? I remember that they covered Atlantic City, I think. But as a whole - well, I have to admit, I forgot about it. Forum: Tell Me
Charts? Never...since vinyl slowly...said goooodbye. I mean - when you had to BUY something beautiful. And lovely girls stood there in the record store. Holding albums in their hands. Reading. Ah! STOP! I know - but CD was the beginning of the end...It´s not 1981, 1983 and Tattoo and Undercover anymore. Charts? Forum: Tell Me
1996...after that it was just a repetition. MTV News had a lot of Stones clips 1993, 1994...almost daily. It was Sex Drive, Highwire, interviews during rehearsals and so on. Sadam. But after that - almost nothing. 1998: More Las Vegas shows and nostalgia. But that´s just me. A hundred ways to look at it. Forum: Tell Me
Ah, how I long for this release. I buy lots of vinyl in frustration. And even Allman Brothers first album. Never heard them before. But at 57 there are still things for me to discover. Love it. When the new Stones album arrive, I will light a candle. October. Dark evenings. But there will still be a warm feeling in my heart. Forum: Tell Me
I have a CD I play in my car. "The Collection", I think. Lots of cuts from 1977-1984. And I just love Celluloid Heroes from One For The Road. Maybe my all time favourite live-album. Forum: Tell Me
