QuoteGazza QuoteKRiffhard ...at the moment we know two songs: One More Shot and Prisoner of Lonelyness Steve Jordan said that they'd 'recorded' One More Shot - which ended up being reworked by the Stones. I may have misread this, but I dont think he actually said it'll be on the album. I doubt theyve even decided on a track listing, to be honest. Jordan says that it isn

Quotebye bye johnny Steve Jordan gives radio.com's Brian Ives some details about the Keith project: The Stones played two new songs during this tour, and one of them, “One More Shot,” was written by Richards for a potential solo album, according to the band’s Rolling Stone cover story earlier this year. “We’re working on it now, it’s really pretty amazing,” Jordan says, before adjust

QuoteIrelandCalling4 I listened to it again this morn also; it would've made a great release. His "It's Funny" has such promise; beautiful jazzy music, all it needs is a more developed vocal and you'd have quite a track! I'm compiling for i-pod the most complete 'songs' from the sets; tunes with vocals (in some kind of developed form anyway) You Got i

QuoteIrelandCalling4 Having not heard some VL outtakes in a long time (hadn't heard the album either, I spin the excellent 'Babylon' and 'Bigger Bang' albums frequently, but VL fell to the wayside for years) - finally got around to getting the full Voodoo Brew & Stew sets (haven't got 'Residue' yet). I really liked some of the tunes like the jazzy &q

QuoteTheBlockbuster It is a great song but it sounds like crap played live. In the chorus Mick is always out of sync with Lisa and Bernard, why not sing at the same time ? And also it's played way too fast = no groove. ...even One More Shot sounds like crap played live.

Quotewindmelody Doom and gloom is a decent song that works well liv e in my opinion. It is not a Stones classic of course. I agree that One more shot is a caricature of a Stones song. One More Shot was composed by Keef and Steve for the solo album with the X-Pensive Winos. And I think the final result would have been much better. Played with the Stones and sung so bad and forced by Mick (even

Quotebye bye johnny Waddy's gotten together with Keith on a couple occasions in recent years. Early 2010 and March of this year they were in LA for work on Johnny Depp's Keith documentary. Whether anything from those sessions will be part of a future Keith release remains to be seen. As does Depp's film. ...as two songs recorded with Jack White.

This new solo project doesn't seem to involve all Winos as occurred with Main Offender. Apart from that i really hope that is not an album of cover versions
