My mom died in march in the age of 96. After a life full of love for her familiy and friends it was a very hard death for her - over a week she vanished piece by piece. Fully aware what was going on. She doesn't deserve this. It was terrible for all of us. For the funeral we choosed a song that she loved so much: "Rote Rosen", some kind of a german folk ("Schlager") song.

QuoteKeithNacho Pathe marconi sessions should be released. All of them since 1978 to 1985. One of the best Rolling Stones age. A new group, a new style with the very same roots but with a new and fresh sound. A perfect reborn group ready to compete with punk and new wave . Maybe the best version of themselves I couldn't agree more

QuoteCooltoplady Quotedjango If you didnt buy those t-shirts you would of had better seats. Nice ... but wrong. 1. That weren't our seats. 2. I bought the Start Me Up shirt in the early nineties for little money from Bill German. 3. The Keith shirt is from his online shop and was more expensive but I don't have to care about that anyway

That was my first Stones LP (1971?). Not knowing very much about the band and their output I thought it was the film soundtrack. I was thirteen at that time.

Quotebuttons67 did gerd muller park his butt in the penalty box and watch his teammates do all the hard graft and creativity only to score from 3 yards past an already beaten goalie then take all the credit for himself then run to the corner flag, puff his chest out and declare himself the king. He never did that. The most modest guy in football history and of course the best scorer.

Definitely 1978. I'm a fan since 1974 but 78 was just like boooom!!! The great album, the bootlegs (Garden State arrived first in Europe). SG is still one of my favourites.

QuoteRobberBride Great video Django It seems so strange today seeing the gates uncovered. Without the cover there was so much to see. The villa, the sphinxes - I mean the garden itself was something to look at. Its so cool to have this video also, Django, since it documents Nellcote in its last month before the Russian takeover. It was put on the marked in August 2007, and bought by the Rus

Good concert, better than expected after the “Keith’s guitar playing ability” discussion here. Highlights for me PIB and Rambler. So sad that they droped PWF from the setlist after Hamburg. Also my wife enjoyed the show. That means something as she isn’t a fan. Before the encore I saw Angus walking by, just a few meters from me. He was going back to the backstage area. All in all a much better co

Hi friends from all over the world, Just 48+ hours to go and I’m exited and happy that my favourite band (Fan since 1974, 16 years old) is in town again! I am a Düsseldorfer and I just want to let you know how beautiful my hometown is. Düsseldorf, as a city, was founded in 1288 and it is one of the most beautiful cities at the river Rhine. Heinrich Heine was born here in 1797 and 180 year
