I've saved an awful lot of money by not buying anything from this store since 2014 when they sent the wrong shirt. The returns process is complex and expensive even when it is them who are at fault so I just took the hit and vowed never to use them again. There are plenty of other things to spend money on. Hard to think of any other website that would survive with their attitude.

If the occasion was big enough, (e.g. 60th anniversary), yes. The question is would Taylor do it? I think he's burnt his bridges with them.

I think the turning point was in 2014 with the death of L'Wren. Keith was clearly supportive and Mick appreciative. The on-stage relationship seems to improve with every tour to the dizzy heights we see now. I'm sure both realise that there is no point in taking three months out of your life every year at their ages to live in an awkward atmosphere. Sure they probably hardly speak outsi

Quoteelmuseo The Tour is Over Thanks to all the people involved (periscopers, facebookers, instagramers etc) and specially to Green Lady and Waterrats for to be every night looking for links Long Live Rock´n´Roll Couldn't agree more. Thank you too to the Rolling Stones for making it such a great tour for us. They are in fantastic shape. I haven't seen every video of every show but

Kylie was a lot of fun and The Cure were magic, the perfect closer. Very trippy, very Glastonbury. That's all I watched, the likes of Stormzy and Liam Gallagher don't interest me.

Just saw it for the second time as a friend wanted to see it. If I enjoyed it first time then second time it really knocked me out, maybe like lots of folks here were on first viewing. Maybe it takes more time for things to penetrate my dense head but anyway I really do rate it now.

^ Thing is that's only part of the story. Were you to look at the Drowned World tour you'd see a show where Madonna sang every single note live and there were some very creative things going on. I accept that it was a peak and no tour since has been anywhere near it, especially regarding the lip synching which was almost total on the last tour. I hope she doesn't try and get away w

Quotedcba "Her career had not only been about ambition"... that one is a gem! It's funny (and a bit pathetic) to see how Madonna doesn't want to face reality about her life and her career : she's a has-been, her career is dead since the late 80's but no she wants to believe (and make us believe) she's relevant. So she re-invents herself as a contemporaray a

Quotetatters Quotemjaggergirl I agree - I enjoyed it but do not need to see it again, but I would watch rhapsody again. Loved the costumes! It would make a great broadway show- or was it and I missed it? It may as well have been. Most of it seemed to me like a film adaptation of a Broadway musical. Maybe he really does think of his life and his music in those terms, but as an approach to

Quotemtaylor Is it pure play back, at the most the Spice Girls singing? No band or? They are absolutely singing live. The band are somewhere at the back of the stage like the Stones side band.

I didn't really pay attention to them first time round though I always thought Wannabe was a really great pop song. This thread prompted me to check it out from this latest tour and whilst the sound is certainly poor it's great fun and they are very professional and energetic. Looks like people had a good time.

Amazing how the supposed “liberal” gay-friendly crowd reacted with such hostility at the glimpse of the flag that represents so many of their neighbours and fellow human beings. The Iceland group sent a simple message of inclusion that was hea

A surprising number of decent songs this year I thought: North Macedonia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Iceland, U.K., Netherlands and Russia for example. The interval, (which seemed to be far longer than in the past), had some excellent entertainment though I have to agree with an earlier post that Madonna was flat when she sang live and the second song was playback.

I watch it every year. It sort of exists in its own micro climate not particularly reflecting either the current pop scene or any previous one and yet there's always something to enjoy. I thought Iceland were very good last night. Australia really have the knack of Euro success and will do well again this year and I really liked the Polish entry, (very traditional Slavic feel), which didn

Even in 2008 Four Minutes made number one. That was her last big hit. The last album sold around a million worldwide in 2015 so the Stones hardcore base is unquestionably higher.

Quotedesertblues68 I think her most daring and interesting work was probably her least best selling albums Erotica and American Life. Saw her during the drowned world tour and really enjoyed her show, as she had released two very good albums in a row and rent branded herself as a mature artist. Very much agree though I would put Erotica and Ray Of Light as her two best albums. In any case th

QuoteStoneage That's true, Al. And the trend audience isn't very loyal. But if you made it big once there is often a core of fans out there who won't leave you until you drop. It's just a matter how big it is. In the RS case it's huge... That's right and in Madonna's case she has managed to lose a lot of long term fans in recent years with her antics such

It was when I saw Honky Tonk Women on Top Of The Pops in July 1969. It was my first time to see or hear the group. I was 10 years old and it was instant love. I faithfully named them as my favourite band and never wavered despite having to wait more than 18 months for the next single in 1971. When Brown Sugar came out I not only bought the three track single, (which included Let It Rock), but Sti

I would agree that stadium audiences might go for a beer if the Stones started playing Spider and the Fly but anything on the compilations would hold their attention, e.g. The Last Time, It's All Over Now, 19th Nervous Breakdown. It would be good to hear them sometimes. To be fair Get Off My Cloud and Under My Thumb do get regular outings.

Ringo is a drummer's drummer - they all acknowledge his creativity. The Beatles were very lucky to have him. I am so pleased that at long last he is getting at least some of the recognition he deserves. That mythical quip of Lennon's about him not even being the best drummer in the Beatles has done him no favours at all, the worst thing being that I recently read somewhere that Lennon d

Quotecrholmstrom QuoteErik_Snow QuoteStoneage A favourite of mine is Bowie's "Serious Moonlight" concert video from 1983. Sound, vision and the audience interaction with the band is on top. Look at that one and learn. Strange that you say that; I think the sound is awful on Serious Moonlight, sounds like it's buired under cotton. The footage is good, but the sound; not so.
