great idea.... the b stage could have some of the their old hits. come on, bb.johnnie, empty heart, mona, surprise, surprise and end it with, its all over now! i love heartbreaker too. but that should be done up on the main stage and right after that play lies...they did that song in 1978 tour..really rocked... i also wish they doo doo doo like they 1st did it, with lots of guitars..

i agree.the licks tour was great.. lots of guitars..the 75 and 78 tours were great as well...with the some girls album to tour with..it doesn't get any better! the stones have given us something different for each tour. thats why you don't get bored.. i'm sure keith takes something for his hands...let it rock!

again a riff is not as song... and i never heard bill say he wrote jjf... for the most part charlie, does his part by putting down the drum line...should he be given credits? same with bill.... jagger/richards are masters at using others for their music..but so was every other song writer..they hear an idea and go from there... jagger/richards were never sued and lost a case for stealing others m

they won't call it their farewell tour..but they won't have to.. most every fan looks like it could be.. with most of the band over 60...do the math! plus with the touring business getting better..and with a hot (i hope) new album, to tour with, i think we will see a big tour, with lots of new and excited fans... new fans/new blood.. but if its a bad album, poor sales, then we will

no way-- most fans don't care..sadly..the stones biggest selling tours were all after bill left the band...so it didn't effect the stones at all..on getting writing credits, with the stones... jjf, he gave a few notes, some ideas, keith wrote it.. its takes more than just a note or 2 too put together a song.. if the work that bill has done was any good the stones would have used it..

that a good question..i do remember seeing very old pictures of bill with the stones around 1963 and he had a big smile.. in fact their were a lot back then.. he didn't look very cool... so i think andrew oldham put a stop to it... i also recall ronnie wood in the 75 tour was told to stop smiling all the time..wood said that in a interview. around the black and blue album... so i thi

he was a stone a long time..how many of us would stay with the same company, wife, etc for almost 30 years? i just wish he would come back for 1 last tour.. how many can at 60+ play at the level of the stones? he can't be happy playing to 25 people at a dinner club outside of london.. go out and see a good doctor about your fear of flying and beg jagger to come back! no one who loves playing

i don't think jagger/richards asked him back... i don't believe in one minute that bill wouldn't jump at the chance to come back.. i read him say that he left the stones a little too soon..because of how much they are making in todays tours! also mick and keith seem to be like, we moved on, we have a new bass player, who does a great job and we don't have to pay him as much as

i never heard thaty one! we love you, was released as a thank you for their fans for all the support they gave for mick and keith after they were let off for being arrested.... i don't think it was ever going to be put on tsmr.. even if it was, a lot of times the single was not put on the record..ie jumping jack flash....the english didn't like to buy the album with the single included

the sony, remastered hybrid sacd version sounds 90% better...in fact the entire collection sounds better..i have replaced the entire old 1986 versions..now in the car... kleins remastered sound sooooo much clearer, brighter, you can hear every note...sounds like it was recorded today... p.s. aftermath i think is their 4th best album the stones even recorded. 1. let it bleed 2. stickyfinger 3

hi rankoutdider, tsmr was always a just ok album for me.. but the remastered version sounds so great... if your in a laid back mood..and want to really listen then its a great album..very deep. brian jones i think saves it and makes it one of the very best from that time period...the sacd brings out every note..very clear.. p.s. for me, the remastered versions show how truely great the rolling

don't kill me..but i never liked it.. doesn't go anyplace.. very boring.. not in the same class as t.s.m.r. or buttons..the song should have been replaced with travellin man... the only song weaker is, hide your love! winter is a great song......if they redid silver train and mr. d and replaced the above 2 tracks, ghs could have been another sticky fingers or l.i.b. !

are mick t. and bill w. friends? they both live in the same country and they both still play.. you would think that mick would call bill and put a band together.. on off years they could have had charlie, ronnie..... then they could have had jagger/richards! i just don't know why they never did it.. bill and taylor still play with either there own band or someone elses..so why not togeth

i think they will..... but more 2000's sound too it. i think the new tracks from the 40 licks c.d...kind of sounded like their old stuff... don't stop/come on. i hope the new album is more to their roots or at least to be more like jumping jack flash/brown sugar type!

AGAIN, I AGREE! bill played bass diferent from anyone else..mostly because he had such small fingers.. he couldn't play it like most did..so the sound came out better i think.. i also think bill would jump at the chance to play on the new stones album. i know he hates to fly, so i don't think we see him on tour again..if keith or mick called him, i'm sure he return to make the al

i agree.... i wish someone would talk to bill.. it be great if he went into the studio just for the album...i know they won't call him...sad.. bill along with charlie helped form the stones sound.. be nice to have it return with bill.. if someone out there knows keith's number..have keith call bill and ask him to return?

the other question is...if you want jagger to cover elvis...does that mean mick has to pull his hair back and use a ton of hair spray and grow long side burns... get a 50's white rine stone jump suit...and then book vegas? why does everyone want the greatest ROCK and roll band to cover other peoples work? i want to hear jagger/richards...not berry, elvis, the beatles, monkee's,the o
