I really love this latest album. It might well be their best yet, IMO.

Sounds like they didn't manage to secure synch rights of Stones' tunes (at least I can't hear any in the trailer). Still, looks like a great documentary!

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 You got to hand this one to Lennon & McCartney & Harrison. It's endless; Take the albums "Hard Days' Night". It is one magnificent bridge after another. "Things we said to day", "Ill Be Back" title track "If I Fell"... "I love you" in 'Michelle", just brilliant; going into the solo "

Doxa - on a limb here - based on what I've read and how I understand record deals and what you said - the deal they have with UMG regarding the 15 million hence 3 new albums being that The Rolling Stones have to give them 3 new albums - per the deal - uh, well, the deal says this... 3 new albums. Period. UMG is a bank. The $1

Some mantain that Ringo cannot really play drums anymore, so it felt safer to keep on stage Macca's drummer too. I ain't no drummer, but from the footage Ringo's contribution sounds messy. Of course in the arena I didn't pay any attention to that, since everybody was overwhelmed with the excitement of seeing these guys on stage together. It was great no matter what.

That's not the first time Ronnie joins Macca on stage, though! Having been there myself, I must reckon it was pretty epic. And Ronnie sounded great!

Probably played in G on at least one of the guitars, capo'ed at the second fret. peace Studio version - two guitars, both standard tuning, one with a capo at the second fret (Keith) the other without a capo (MT). As for the key of the song, I am

Quotedrewmaster QuoteMichaelLassen It’s always been my wish for a kickass opener of a show! It’s uptempo and the best opening lyrics ever: “The band’s on stage and it’s one of those nights - the drummer think that he is dynamite (huge roar obviously). And different and in your face kind of track. Easy for Keith to get in a groove with and for Ronnie to shine on the solo! Maybe it’s jus

QuoteHappy24 QuoteChris Fountain It would be great to see them release a smash hit that just blows you away the first time you here it such as "Satisfaction" Start Me Up " or even "Rocks Off". Then again, if they create a Goats Head Soup or melodic type album that will be fine too. I just want the music mixed and produced well such as Tattoo You, for example. I

QuoteSilver Dagger My first reaction to Egypt Station was not very good with the exception of a few outstanding songs on side (second half of the album). I've persevered and after the 4th listen I reckon it's his best album since Tug Of War in 82. The singles are, weirdly, the weakest songs on it. But for a 76 year-old man to be making music like this is remarkable. I think both "

What a great clip!!! He looks and sounds best when he's playing harmonica, IMO. And what a great sound! Wonder which plug - in is he using to get it, or maybe the harmonica was plugged to an amplifier? My bet is that he's working on a demo for the prospective new Stones' album. That's just about time!
