The "new" version of Sway has a better mix/production than the original from the "Snakes" album.

I'd say Hyde Park '69,and all other festivals are just partly documentet or none existent. Also the London shows in december '69 was not a part of the American tour. Nothing from 1970 or winter tour '73(sick!)From the Vegas era I don't have overview, but isn't the last tour with Charlie just partly documented? Cant remember hearing the slow version of Brown Sugar on

I don't use twitter so not sure of the rules but can this be put on the official Stones twitter and ABKCO official twitter by simply responding to a tweet? QuoteErik_Snow Quotejohnh why doesn't "Ladies and Gentlemen" count? Because they didn't really peak before very late june or maybe one should say july 1972. ANd because the sound isn't that good at all. The sound is aweful, and it still sounds like a bootleg.

QuoteTaylor1 Last shows with Billy Preston and Ollie E.Brown.Last shows where Charlie had a crewcut.Last shows before the punk /disco craze.Last shows where Keith may have been on heroin In some ways the last show of pretty much anything that had with rock'n roll to do. A milestone in stones history, and a great closure of a band heading for a new direction.

Quotetimmyj3 I can guarantee the powers that be that ANY boxed set of LIVE 1969 will be be purchased by our family at pretty much whatever price they ask. Yeah, bring it on -all of it! I support the idea of a complete MSG with no overdubs

QuoteMathijs I actually don't think these are soundboards, but audience recording taken from the PA. These recordings were made to capture the audience. Mathijs Agree. On some of the songs the instruments sounds distant. Also between songs on Ya Yas one can hear the same type of audience recording in slightly better quality. Hate it when they mix the audience recording into songs. It t

81. MSG '69
Found all three shows on Youtube in what sounds like soundboard. Haven't checked all songs yet, but this seems to be the same as the new years dump from ABKCO. Parts of the second show are still missing. Anyone else know what this is and if its official (see credits)?

QuoteMathijs QuoteS.T.P They really sounded great on the festivals in '69 -Both at Palm Beach and in Altamont Keith and MT used more effects on the guitars. Especially the vibrato pedals made the guitars sound even cooler than on MSG. They didn't use any effects on the guitars, they are just terribly out of tune and the film is wobbly. Quoteautomaticchanger QuotePalace Revolution 2000 I think Australia '73 was even hotter than US 72 and Europe 73. If they ever got around to cleaning up another vintage Live show, Sydney or Perth have my vote. Overall I prefer 72, but I've never heard a 72 'Rocks Off' that comes anywhere close to the Australia shows. I'd say the same goes for Bitch, Gimme Shelter, and
