Quotekevinkamphuis QuoteProfessorWolf Quoteretired_dog QuoteNoPanic Now we've seen there are a lot of tapes from 1970 - just release one of those shows ( or 2 or 3 ....) Where have you seen them? yes Damn this is holy grail material! With these tapes the Ladies & Gentlemen film could be restored with perfect sound! That would be nice

Quoteliddas At this point, I would be happy if we had at least one recording from each tour up to 1990. So far we are missing: Any concert that can do justice to the US 72 tour - including Stevie's set a second CD A good 1973 Pacific Tour recording A complete Europe 76 concert As jigsaw69 noted above, a good 1990 Urban Jungle concert. Of course, a massive release of finish

Quoteexilestones QuoteGivenToFly15 Regarding the tapes mentioned in the "My Life As a RS", here are two screenshots. Wow! 1970 & 1972 tapes waiting to be released. If these tapes contains whole shows, we know for sertain that there are at least 10 concerts from the 1970 European tour in the vault. If so there could be even more from the 1972 American tour

QuoteFP Two questions. Did Mick Taylor ever enjoy being a Rolling Stone? He said in Stones in Exile doc that he found it "fun" but without much conviction and every other interview I read he doesn't seem to give much away, although he does seem to regret leaving. Second question, if he had not left, would he have been kicked out by Mick or Keith at some point, to be replaced

QuoteProfessorWolf QuoteNashvilleBlues QuoteHouseBoyKnows July 25, 1972 was my very first Stones show (total so far is 103). I was 18 at the time. Here are some artifacts from my scrap book to recognize the 50 year anniversary. It would be hard to imagine at that time that I would care 50 years later or that The Rolling Stones would still be playing as a band, albeit with just 2 of the members

QuoteThe GR I think the recent Charlie Is Good Tonight 11CD+1DVD bootleg box is about as good as it's going to get for this. Yeah, I would have thought that at least 3-4000 hard core fans could have been interested in a live release from '69. But I guess the time for this is finally running out. No wonder the Stones are holding back on classic live shows. When the appeite for this ki

QuoteRobertJohnson ...The band once again confirms that they are at their best when they focus on the blues... I totally agree. On this show Keith and Ronnie play more like the guitar trading Keith and MT used to do. It's a much more defined lead and rythm approach. Ronnie really get the opporunity to shine and he does. In the end of JJF he play on full capasity and shows how great he really

Quote24FPS QuoteHonestman Quote24FPS ...I think we're getting near the back of the vault, unless they're holding onto Knebworth, or Paris '76. A better version of Paris '67, or anywhere in Europe. A previously unknown tape of their American tour '66. I'm so grateful. I would add one show from the always forgotten European Tour '70. Is it really any different
