QuoteTopi LOL, I remember seeing Bruce in Vancouver in 2012 (the day after I had seen Paul McCartney there). Bruce was like: "We're all Canucks. What the @#$%& does that mean?" That was the Wrecking Ball tour. Great memories. I think I went to like 9 shows that tour in 2012-2013. Hey Topi, I remember that! Also saw McCartney the night before. I remember there were rumo

Van Halen June 2, 1981 Pacific Coliseum Vancouver. A little over a week before they filmed their videos from Oakland Coliseum for Unchained, So This Is Love and Hear About It Later. If you watch the Youtube vids, that's basically what I saw! Of all the times I've seen VH, 81,82,84,86,91,95,07,12, that was the best. First Stones was Steel Wheels at BC Place in Vancouver November 1, 2

Liked a lot of the metal bands in the 80s but wasn't really into WASP. I did like the song Blind In Texas, saw the video a number of times back in the day.

QuoteAntoineParis According to photos the First Time was in January 1967 for the London Sunday Palladium TV... Look at His Majesty's Youtube link from 1965 up above. Also, HYSYMB vid on Youtube from Royal Albert Hall 66 has Bill standing on Keith's side of the stage.

One post that was interesting was the blonde girl in the audience at the TAMI show. Always thought she was very beautiful and now I read she dated Jeff Beck shortly after!

Saw Booker a little over a decade ago I think when he opened for Bachman/Cummings in Abbotsford BC. Thought for sure his encore would be Green Onions but he actually played it midway through his set! Good show. My brother was surprised that he knew pretty much all the Bachman/Cummings set list since he doesn't really listen to BTO or Guess Who but since they're Canadian, you hear the

Quotecrholmstrom QuoteDan Cheap Trick though apparently only 2 are actively on tour I think Rick Nielsen was out a short time but is back now. He's 74, older than the rest of the band. Robin Zander's son filled in for him. I sure would've been bummed if I went to a show & Rick wasn't with them. Bad enough that Bun E Carlos got forced out. They played here recently &

QuoteNashvilleBlues I can see a big band doing a 10-year tour to set a new record. Some tours are short, some are long. Career earnings mean more to me than what one tour makes. Wonder what Dylan's 2021-24 tour will end up making? At least Elton's tour is an actual farewell tour, same stage and setlist. He did 5 shows in Vancouver alone! If it wasn't for covid, it would probably

When Rod Stewart toured for his Camouflage album back in 84, Jeff played with him but only for a short period of time. Tour started in Vancouver and then down the US west coast. I believe Jeff quit when they were in the San Fran area. Great comment by Jeff at the time: We have a love/hate relationship. He loves me and I hate him!

Quotekovach I think they used AC/DC in a previous set of commercials. Sure are spending a lot of money to advertise mediocre food. Chevy used Back In Black for one of their commercials a while back. The reasoning that the band let them use the song is that Chev were going to use another song that sounded similar to BIB. I think it was to promote the Chevy Cobalt which was basically a newer ve

Robbie was the drummer for Bachman Turner Overdrive (BTO) back in the 70s and during various reunions. Probably the biggest Canadian rock band in the 70s with hits like Taking Care of Business, Hey You, Roll On Down The Highway, You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet, Let It Ride, Fo
