I just can't make it though the studio versions of Satisfaction and Under My Thumb anymore. But i love the 69 & 81 versions of UMT and this MSG 69 Satisfaction is at the very top for me. The 69 tour was just amazing. Opposite for Brown Sugar and Jumping Jack Flash. I think the studio versions of both beat any live versions i've heard.

Country music star Dolly Parton hugs rock star Mick Jagger backstage after her Bottom Line concert. 5/14/77. Finally, photographer Allan Tannenbaum is releasing a new book of photographs: New York in the 70s, that will transport you back to NYC as it was in the '70s. Sex, drugs, street gangs, disco divas, politicians, homeless, celebrities, musicians, hookers, and literally every other

YGMR stinks but it's a business move for the PPV. If the casual fan sees Brown Sugar or Satisfaction or Honky Tonk Woman with Jumpin Jack Flash they are much less likely to buy the PPV show 3 nights later. The boys are a business machine - and one of the best in the business - and have been for a long, long time now.

In my opinion the Stones only did 2 songs last night specifically so they wouldn't water down PPV sales over the next couple of days. From a business standpoint it's clearly the right move. Seriously, you think the casual fan is going to watch 4 or 5 songs last night and then pony up money to watch them again in 3 nights?

I don't like YGMR either but i think they chose it beause it isn't a classic Stones warhorse. I think it's another calculated PPV move. Had they done 2 warhorses the casual fan is less likely to buy the PPV show.

Romo stinks. Dude has only won 10 of his last 25 starts. Dallas has only won one playoff game in like 15 years and i still can't get them off my tv, radio or computer... Being a GIANTS fan i hope Romo stays healthy and plays another 15 years for Dallas.

Saw them at The Attic in Greenville N.C. in late 70's. Met several of them outside the venue before they got back on the tour bus. Great band.

My favorite part is when the boys are settling in to their seats and Keith whips out the blade to open the bottle of Jack or whatever. If i remember it correctly he brings the bottle in to the place in a bag, can't twist the top of by hand so the switchblade pops out. Then he takes a straight pull off the bottle before it goes to someone else. '81 is about the last year i thought Kei

I was there too. We moved to Greensboro from New Jersey in the middle of the TOTA so got to see them a month earlier at MSG which was my first show. We were out in the parking lot starting around noon waiting for the General Admission gates to open. I remember everyone running into the Coliseum when they finally let us in. I sat on Ronnie's side a couple of rows up from the floor. Saw t

By '75 or '76 this album was available real cheap in the cut out bin at the record stores. Why did stores cut off the corner of the record sleeve when they marked down albums?
