Release dates for new music is fridays but they wouldn’t announce anything on a Friday and the 4th is Labor Day. I bet announcement will be Wednesday 9/6 and maybe first single Friday 9/8. Here’s hoping. No inside info here

Forty Licks has absolutely no bearing if they released a new single on Jaggers birthday . FL is readily available in used cd shops. All the songs except 3 ( not even well known hits) are available on multiple compilations. How many vinyl copies are being pressed worldwide? I’m guessing no more than 10,000

the BLUE and Lonesome CD is horrible sound wise. The minute you crank up the volume it’s pure distortion. GHS when universal reissued it in 2009 or 2010 was really unlistenable too.

I’m sure they have video taped every recording session. They probably will put something out on Netflix and will probably recoup most recording production costs by using videos on several streaming platforms. I think the tours ended last year in Europe but I could be wrong. Still think a few shows to promote the album like Fonda theater for Sticky is worth exploring.

FORTY LICKS isn’t even a thought for them. All the tracks except 4 are available to stream on numerous albums including greatest hits. Vinyl pressing for die hards is limited. They could release the new album the same day as the reissue and it would not affect sales of either one of them. People unless vinyl fanatics or huge stones fans are not buying it. Wasn’t impressed with Jaggers last snippet and it was bugging me because it sounded familiar and I couldn’t find it on the fully finished outtakes. Then I found a Prmitive Cool outtake DANGER UP AHEAD on YouTube. Hope not but it sounds like it
