There is a thread about torrents some days back, when I asked for help and everything is kindly explained there. use my name in the search engine and you'll find it easily.

I was NOT there, just discovering torrents and therefore this tour's shows little by little, and being sometimes disappointed and sometimes so impressed - you were lucky to witness that!

nothing, it's only these two. Wonder who takes the pain of writing that? Was it perhaps written besides the titles on the master tapes, and the guy in charge of reediting just copied all that was written? I can't imagine an executive deciding from the top of his head that he'd spell out the meaning of songs for us. Interesting though that Gimme Shelter is about paranoia. I alway

Why are the titles written on the cover in a different order from the running order? Why, when I put my CD in my computer, are there comments after the titles of Gimme Shelter: and love in vain: ? Anybody noticed these? Not that it's important, but I wonder how these things get there.

Woaw, what a killer show!! I've torented the boot and I'm amazed in every respect - including Ronnie. Everybody plays so strong! Fab moments: A mess of raggedy guitars on Sympathy, proper weaving for once, fabulous. Keith grooving on Rambler and doing variations I never heard, same applies to Jagger who curves notes in all sorts of ways, whispers and growls... so good. A very wel

Mozart is my favourite composer (and my musical culture is firstly classical I shall confess). His work is unbelievable! Actually it's quite clear to me why Mozart is my fav in classical and the stones my favs in rock, and it's for similar reasons in a way. I like purity of form and sobriety of means before all. I like little perfect shapes, the perfection of which never ceases to am

Hey well, if the Stones for once have a little thought for the ones who can't pay 100 bucks, that's fair isn't it?

I love the concept of "studnet". Seems like a sophisticated term for a slut, a net designed for stud catching.

fans are fed up because they are too well fed, that's the problem. There is a sense of yearning through the week for the new episode of your sitcom, waiting three years without one live note by the Stones, hoping for spring, that is lost around here. If you had not all these bootlegs and if had been living on blessed memories of the last concert three years ago, you'd be ever so glad to

If it was just me and they'd be sitting in my room... I'd like them to play Think I'm going mad and others. But I'll bring three friends who have never seen them in Paris, and I want Keith to open with the heavy swing of Start me up; I want them to dance to Miss You; I want to them to have the mighty Jagger introducing himself as a man of wealth and taste, I want them to si

I guess a huge free concert has an enormous advertising power, it gets them on TV news, everybody knows about the Rio show, it's worth a lot of money in terms of media exposition, probably more than what they make with a paying show in Rio. Having a paying show for 100 000 in Brasil is not gonna get them much money considering that their staff and expenses are certainly paid in dollars.

BigFrankie, I can't believe you mentionned Paint it black. I thought that one was a unanimous classic! Steel Wheels is complete rubbish - only like Blinded by love half of Satanic is crap. Worst songs: Already over me, Always suffering, Lies, (now how did that one sneak between 9 masterpieces at a time when there are so many fabulous outtakes?????) can you hear the music (love

I wouldn't care too much if a four-year-old sees a topless girl or hears a bit of swearing for once - it won't ruin his psyche, for sure.

I'm listening to them as they come... what a cool gig... raggedy and rocky. Love the mix too, feels like you're right there, on Mick and Keith's laps. Can't wait for the last songs, you're making my day!

setlists moaners are really incredible. If played well, must have been a great show! If they play the same thing when I see them in Paris and Wembley I'll be delighted, especially with NightTime. Hey it's the same tour, 2005-2006! How can anyone expect them to change everything is beyond me. The stones have put up a great show for this tour, I'm very much looking forward to it.

The added musicians are not a problem - after all, it's pretty much an 'Exile' line-up. I think the autopilot feel comes from the fact that the charts are written too tightly. Lisa and Bernard are cool and smpathetic, but the fact that they have to stick to strict lines makes it feel all kind of frozen. If everybody was allowed to let it a little more loose (as on the end of

Cool, so who spits best? I'm bad at it, have to admit, but I have a booming voice and will yell all the lyrics in your ear so you'll hear nothing from Mick! Anyway I don't know how I'll behave, sometimes I dance, sometimes freak out and sometimes I just stare, open-mouth, gobbing flies and looking stupid. The stones-effects...

On the video for Till the next time, Jagger is just too good looking, BUT - as so often in the seventies, I think he poses too much and annoys me. Especially his feminine attitudes seem false and ridiculous. But now when it comes through unintentionnally, he craks me up. I love Rambler on four flicks, at the beginning, when he sings the first "everybody got to go" and has this little

Ket, of course I agree that there are crap, non-creative samplers - and we do agree that it is not bad BECAUSE it is sampled but because it is simply bad sample. Today, as I said, I rate Dizzie Rascal and Wiley (UK): sort of two-step, twisted techno beats (nothing like to-TA-to-TA) and self-mocking lyrics; Jurassic Five who have much more of a political agenda, and who have the best sampl

All this crap about melody, and playing the instruments, and how many on stage and what not is on the same line as: - Picasso doesn't know the shape of a face - my little cousin could do like Matisse - photography is not real art - Warhol is not a painter - rockers can't play their instruments etc etc etc. If you are not able to update your criterias, don't even try to gra

I think it's unbelievable how violent you can be against rap. Why not let the ones who enjoy it discuss it as they wish? As for "At least they can pull their pants the right way", that's water to my mill: "ha! Look at their hair, they look like girls, ah ah ah!" old farts used to say about the stones. Guess who are old farts now?
