Can not disagree more on the only Brian could have made a successful solo career among all the Stones. From waht we know about him, he was too undisciplined to have a successful career not only in music but anywhere else by his own. Only if he would have met right people with patience of a saint to tolerate his behaivour and his temper no matter what and still be able to manage him to his success

Love to see Mick giving credits to his teen idol James Brown again. There are many performers who were inspired by Brown but Mick is the one who is not just "copying his moves" but who also tries to keep his legacy alive.

Oh some people just love to bang on about how Mick is the evilest stone ever.

There's really nothing to talk about. Mick and Keith both used Ron as their "clown". Ron never seemed to protest against it and always looked like having fun. Slash in his book told a story when he witnessed the Stones working in the studio and how Keith harassed Ronnie dusing the session. When he asked what's going on, he was told it's okay, way of interraction.

Enjoyed watching it very much. They got some rare footage I've never seen before and impressive list of people to interview for this docu. I just wished there were English subs available because my Deutsch is very poor to understand everything they were talking about.

I do like Lucas and he's pretty much open hearted, family loving kid. What I really love about the Stones kids is they are kinda large family and close to each other, which is not that common in celebrity world. Usually it's kind of always fighting, self-promoting, making controversial interviews and statements sort of people - you can see lots of that crap if you pay attention. But t

Happy Birthday to my favorite Stones guitarist ever. May he spend his day filled with love and light. Here are my two favorite moments of him - among many others of course - Marquee I've Got The Blues when he gently takes on the intro when Keith messed up and another one is him dancing to the Can't You Hear Me Knockin' in Glastonbury video:

What I fing really strange, at least from my point of view, is how Frank easily invited people Brian barely knew, into his house. That nurse made it clear she met Brian only once more than a year ago, before she was invited by Frank to stay in Brian's farm. I wonder how many strangers for Brian could have stayed there as well and why? Well I read that Brian's life was a bit chaotic and

How's nobody mentioned intro in YCAGWYW? It's absolutely great and so catchy. Must be among their most recognizable tunes. Sister Morhine and Play With Fire would be in my list, too.

QuoteMathijs Great footage, never knew Mick and Keith watched Gram play, and never knew Gram was copying Jagger stage performance so much.... Mathijs That was my first thought too. It's been said how Gram inspired the Stones but it's rarely mentioned how the Stones influenced Parsons and now when I saw Gram's performance, I can see he was copying Mick. Nice to see Mick and Kei

I read an old story that after Brian left the band, he still could have owned the name "Rolling Stones", was paid pretty much big money but refused to let them use the name. Mick and Keith came up to offer him more but he still would not let them use it because it was his band, he owned the right to it and stuff like this. Keith got angered and pull a knife on him. Then they left and th

Keith is known for slagging other musicians and genres off. Not his best side. Kinda reminds of all those old men who hated the Stones as a whole in the 60s. Hip hop and rap as a genre can not be bad. Just like any other music, it has some really great stuff and some not that great. That is all. You would think that Keith is smart enough to understand that.

That was so heartbreaking to know that Charlie's death was something they did not expect or were ready for. They thought he's gonna recover and be fine. They did believe he's gonna join them soon.

I wish Mick Taylor was there with others because to me, he's the biggest part of the Stones, and Charlie was the Stone. I know it's not about the Stones neither about who I think should be there but still. I'm more concerned about Shirley Watts, was she there? People talk about Seraphina and Charlotte and no mention of Shirley. I just hope she's fine and healthy enough to be t

QuoteHairball This one is really amazing. First, I think it must be the closest version to the original one, according to Mick (kind of Jewish wedding song) and second, it's the only way wider audience behind the Iron Curtain could listen to the Stones song.

It could be a train wreck. Mick and Keith as the band leading force are as strong as ever which would make Brian more and more upset and resentful. I can see him either escape or sabotage band performance in some ways (I recall Stu was talking about it earlier). To cope with the fact he's not the winner here, he takes more and more drugs and becomes unbearable. Mick and Keith see he can'
