I am working on my Archived Flac Files, fixing titles and Artwork. I have the zip of the VGP and DAC artworks. Has anyone created archives of the SODD Art files? And any of the other labels for that matter?

Hey guys/gals, While archiving my cds last year I had one casualty. We Smiled Sweetly from the roseland ballroom during the licks tour. As I was pulling the cd out of the case it snapped in half. I didn’t see it listed in the Rockin Rott Stones Vault list. I know I got it from Charlie(Rockin Rott). Could someone upload that title. (I know there are better copies but I like to keep my col

Hey All, Last summer/Fall I archived all my cds to Flac. I was perusing my files and came across an "Unknown Artist Unknown Album". Obviously, it is the Stones early stuff but I can't for the life of me figure out what Album it is. I tried to make a disc image and let iTunes go out and get the disc info, but it is over 80 minutes so it must be a two disc set but I don't

Thanks for all the input. Gives me a lot to think about. Again I apologize for posting this publicly I was just wondering if anyone had the ability or it was, as you guys indicated, for a specialized group of tapers. Now, IEM, I think I may have mis-Spoke. I have never heard the feed but is it possible to record the Assistive Listening Device at a stadium? I have been looking around to see i

Hey guys, I hope this is ok that I post this. I am going to Pittsburgh and Buffalo and I would like to see if I can get a recording of the shows. I was going to try to do this last year for New Jersey but I thought about it too late and couldn’t get the equipment in time. Can anyone with experience give me some guidance on equipment and how to do this correctly? You can post here (if it

Quotestonesmuziekfan It already was in my plans to do all "Golden Star" I have. Always something else came up. I will do a.s.a.p. Expect to be sceduled for heart valve surgery shortly after my vacation, so can't promise when a.s.a.p. will be. It is no rush. Take care of yourself! Thank you.

Quotestonesmuziekfan [email protected] No noticeable issues on the disc just that the disc is slightly transparent. Thanks! Try stick a label on top. That could help because the laser just shines through the disk It is not in Stonesvault but have it at home, so if the label does not bring the solution. tell me, and I will upload. I gave it a shot and my home recorder started

Hey guys, I have taken the task of properly archiving my bootleg cd collection to flac. I starting the beginning of last month and only to Paris 76. As I expected I have hit a few bad discs from bit rot and other various disc ailments. Not a whole lot but some. Most all of them have been up in the stones vault so I was able to get another copy for my archive. But I have hit one title th

Quotedcba It's from an old rare (300 copies?) French fanzine. I have my copy in the attic but where...? It's valuable because like I said it's written by a person who was a real fan and he saw all the NY shows. Well if you ever get in your attic I would love to read some of articles in this fanzine. Probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to have it archived on archive.org so it doesn’t

Quotedcba Quoteblakeeik In my opinion it is more likely that it was played (as it was every other night in NYC) and it just wasn't recorded, unless there is other evidence that supports another theory. French journalist and Stones super-fan saw all the NYC shows and reviewed them extensively for the a French fanzine (which I own). If I can find it I'll peruse it... It's a kengh

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteMathijs QuoteSend It To me QuoteKoen QuoteSend It To me Keith is probably playing in Open G tuning about 80% of the time at a typical show. I highly doubt that, it's probably 50% or maybe even less. But you could be right. If they play disc two of hot rocks, like most nights, I think pretty much all those tunes (except Sympathy perhaps) are open G, so that

QuoteDonParker [email protected] I recently acquired an Ampeg Vt-22. Fully overhauled. I don't have great guitars. Just a bunch of squier teles and ephiphone lp and lp jr. I get real close to keefs sound. Now granted I have to crank the amp up near half or higher to get that sound but when I am alone the neighborhood hears me play! Lol. I have read that Keith used a tube s
