My personal favorite and I finally got to see it live in 1999 (after 18 years of shows) in Charlotte. Dave Matthews ruins the version on No Security.

"Serious Business" from Uh-Huh sounds like an open-g guitar.

I would like to see them play the song "Dirty Work". Great chordal lead break. Don't know if Keith or Ronnie are up to it at this point in time.

I wish they'd played "She's So Cold" and "She Was Hot". Saw them play SSC in 1981.

As Mick is sometimes hard to understand, I still don't know a lot of the lyrics to songs I've loved for more than 30 years! One that stands out to me is in "Beast of Burden". I thought he was saying "crying laughter" when he says "throw it all at me"! Anybody else misheard any Stones lyrics?

On a Stones-related note, the Eagles recorded a song on On The Border called "My Man" about the late Gram Parsons. It features some of the b-bender guitar that Gram helped invent. P. S. Gram is a great, ironic name for a junkie!

Davido is speaking of the El Mocambo boots, not any boots I might have sent out. Just wanted to clear that up.

Last fall, Fogerty played a good mix of classics, rarities, and new stuff. While he doesn't jump around, etc., he really seemed to be having a great time (smiling, talking to the audience, etc.). Mellencamp is a high energy performer though, and does have some good songs. I think this will be an excellent pairing.

"Hardcore Troubador" from I Feel Alright is great and even steals a line from Bruce's "Rosalita".

Could the Stones borrow the Popemobile to deliver the band (or at least Charlie) to the stage. It would be a great entrance! Any suggestions for theme music?

Any pictures of the Pope tearing up a picture of Sinead O'Connor? (For those not in North America, she tore up a picture of JP II on Saturday Night Live a few years back.)

Too liberal for my taste - John Walker Blues, Ellis Unit One, etc. - I have a hard time working up any sympathy for murderers while the victims' families still suffer. Ditto the Taliban. That said I love Copperhead Road, Devil's Right Hand, Someday, Guitar Town and many, many others by him. "I Feel Alright" is an excellent CD, as is his stuff with Del McCrory Band (if you like

Also he did "Dead Flowers" live on Shut Up and Die Like An Aviator. Great songwriter but I disagree with his politics.
