I always thought the way they muted Charlie's drums on this was a mistake. I wonder what held Oldham back from insisting on the full Hal Blaine-Phil Spector slam with reverb ("Be My Baby"), since that's the style the rest of the mix is reaching for. It's practically a Ronettes cover, so not the moment to be a "tasteful" producer. THANKS for the long mix.
