Brian’s contributions on the English version of BTB seem minimal. And the songs he does contribute to other than Yesterday’sPapers and whose been Sleeping Here are mannered and boring..He contributes more to even Beggars Banquet. For me ,BTB is the Stones worst album of the 1960s.
Organ on She Smiled Sweetly, Banjo on Cool, Forum: Tell Me

It was only a short period of time that Brianwas playing badly in the Stones,December1968until May 1969.Fromthe bootlegs I’ve heard ,he played fine on the 1967 tour.Marianne Faithful said he played great at the NME 1968 concert..Check out his playing on Ruby Tuesday’s the 1967 tour. And even though he wasn’t fully engaged on Beggar’sBanquet, his guitar onNo Expectaions, mellotron on JigsawPuzzle and Forum: Tell Me

Do you think the main reason in June 1969 that Mick and Keith asked Brian to leave was he could not get a visa to tour in America. If he could have gotten a visa do you think he would have been given an ultimatum to get his act together? or was that impossible because he didn’t really want to be in the band anymore? And did Anita being pregnant play any role in his disinterest in the band Forum: Tell Me

When it came to music, I don't think Brian had a flaw. An amazing instrumentalist with a faculty for seemingly any instrument. Equally important, he was a highly inventive arranger. Jagger and Richards were never better than when Brian was firing on all cylinders and they trusted him to elevate their material..I would have loved to have heard what he could have done with pre Forum: Tell Me

I’m hers and I’m yours was not released until Apri13 1969.So how would Mick know it was a favorite of Brian’s? Mick had that much contact with Brian between April 13 andJune1969 that he’d know what he listened to?
They probably heard a demo and/or the song in concert.Winter did not record this tillMarch 1969 in Americaand I don’t believe he toured England pl Forum: Tell Me
