So I’ve for to be ready for that.” We all know Mick chooses his words carefully but that sure sounds like a possible tour later this year. He must be seeing some green lights in order to make a comment like that.

Announced today 100 million fully vaccinated in the US. More and more states and cities are fully open or planning to be in the next couple months. Stones should be planning their fall tour accordingly with an announcement by the end of May.

Mike Rutherford recently mentioned that Genesis might do an East Coast US tour in November. There certainly seems to be more bands that are doing or considering touring later this year in the US.

I see no reason why tours cannot begin in September, at least in the US. By then everyone that wants to be vaccinated will be. Whatever vaccinated vs non vaccinated policies that would be in place next year can be started in September.

Taking the US as an example, if everyone that wants a vaccine can have it by July let’s assume 70% have it and 30% don’t. Some of those 30% may eventually get vaccinated but likely not a majority of them. So between August 2021 and May 2022 the vaccination percentage will be roughly the same. I would recommend specific sections at concert venues for vaccinated (good seats) and unvaccinated (back and upper levels) attendees with a couple of empty buffer sections as needed between them.
