This one never resonated with me. I love the Stones doing the blues. Fancy Man, Little Red Rooster. I just don't like a whole Stones album of blues. What I enjoy about most Stonrs album is the diversity. I have only listened to this CD a few times all the way through.

Poor choice of songs by Elton John and McCartney. Why play songs that require a full band to sound right. Tons of songs they could have played that would have been better. Charlie's expression was priceless.

I have said it here many times. I only started seeing shows is 89 so unfortunately I missed the prime era. But of all the tours since then VL was my favorite. To me that was their "older era" prime. Loved the shows (I saw 4). Not Fade Away and the set list in general. Lisa sounded and looked great. I just about wore out the VHS tape I bought at the Montreal show. (From giants stadium).

I think Mick like every great singer has had a few bad performances over the years. He has gone through different eras with his style and sound although not as drastic as some of his contemporaries. Dylan comes to mind. Most people would say he is a terrible singer but quite the opposite. You can be a great singer with a bad voice.
