No one can deny that Mick Jagger is a great professional. I think that if he decides to do a European tour and then a Down Under tour, he'll do the job: he'll sing what the people want (or a least what he thinks the people want). Anyway, regarding the last set-lists, don't think there are so many songs that could hurt anyone.

QuotePowerage5 Planning to go to the Rome gig, as I have a 2 week vacation in Europe right after that. Very nervous about getting tickets... In 2003, a friend of mine bought easily in the street a ticket at normal price for Bercy (15.000 seats) just 2 hours before the show... No reason to worry for a show with 50.000 or 60.000 tickets.

Regarding the fidelity of fans of some european countries, I think that they deserve more than another stadium tour, with a lowcoast stage and a best of set list. It seems that finaly they're going to visit most of the west europe countries (Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Norway, Ireland... probably Denmark and Sweden). It seems that the alternative was, on one hand 2 or 3 concerts in each arena of few cities (Amsterdam, Stockholm, Paris, Cologne etc.), and on another hand 1 stadium (or festival) in each cou

Quotelickskeith Yes there is..halle tony garnier lyon 16000 True. Is this venue OK? I heard a lot of bad thing about it (old venue, bad sound etc.). I don't think there will be more than 1 big concert (arena or stadium) in France this year. In France, we're not used to pay more than 80 or 100 € for a rock concert. Not sure that there will so much demand for the Stones. Stade de F

Quotegotdablouse Actually it seems PELOR is something they generally (always?) have at the Stade de France ? Not sure why but it's a great deal as the tickets are barely more expensive than GA. It's a tad larger than the tongue pit though ;-) In 1998, there was just General Admission for "pelouse". Since 2003, there's always a golden area on the "pelouse" (ca

QuoteJan Richards QuoteMRAmandaJones I think the question is not the quality of the performance or even the song choices, but : why do they rehearse rare songs since they finaly playd more or less the same "best of" for years ? I precise that's not a critic, but a fact. They play the same great songs each night on stage. On rehearsals they are just their own garage band and they
