QuoteTate I'd really enjoy hearing Mick and Keith singing together.. I love when they harmonize together. I hope we get some of that in this next album. Yes, I agree.

Quotealimente QuoteDoxa QuoteHairball QuoteTornAndFried They are currently playing at a good level for their age. However, Mick nor Keith hadn't written a really great song in decades. Maybe they can pull it together one last time and surprise everyone. I doubt it, but I suppose it's possible. Well Keith has written some great material very recently! That's good to know. So

Their discography was a bit confusing at that time. Is this the UK or the US version? This is their second album, right? I know a similar second album, but without Mona (which was on their first), without Little Red Rooster and - I think - without Heart of Stone. As such, I never liked their second album very much, apart from Down The Road Apiece, which is perfection. The other remaining songs

QuoteHMS I´m wondering why all of you are loving Moonlight Mile. It never appealed to me and never will. It's epic and dramatic, it has beautiful guitar lines, it's sad and moody but also uplifting, it has a very simple but effective chordstructure, the sounds, the rhythm and the lyrics amplify each other and paint a picture of a lonely landscape, a long road, the moon, the solitude,

I don't mean to offend anyone, but everytime I see the title of this thread on the main page, I can't help thinking of that clip on YouTube a few years ago in which some guy in tears begged people to leave Britney Spears alone. Sorry for interrupting.

Hot Stuff 5/10. I am not so fond of funk, and I am not so fond of the Stones trying to play funk. The solo is original I guess but it doesn't move me much. Hand of Fate 7/10. Okay rocker, a bit simple. I think I saw someone say this is a "EOMS-type" rocker. I don't see that. It's much more "one-dimensional" than Rocks Off or Down The Line. It's just one

QuoteTestify Crosseyed Heart is gorgeous, but would never be an album stones, and rightly so. Do not confuse the solo careers with that of the group, the Stones are great because they are a mixture of Mick and Keith, maybe not in the idea of the song, but in the development of this. Yes, but that's actually exactly the point GasLightStreet was making.
