I remember this and agree it was a great part of the show. Quotejigsaw69 Urban Jungle had inflatable dogs during Street Fighting Man I remember Mick attacking them with a large stick/pole Then to finish it all off, he gets eaten alive by one at the end of the song.... aka as entering the inflatables mouth, disappearing..... ....and re-appearing at the start of Gimme Shelter !!

I really hope we get some unreleased live shows or something on this. They have so much to give us.

Hopefully they'll include something about Ian Stewart, Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman along with Brian. Sadly, in more recent times they are forgotten or overlooked. QuoteNilsHolgersson So where is Brian Jones's hour special, the founder of the group

See here: We regrettably have to announce that despite all the best efforts the Rolling Stones concert in Bern, Switzerland cannot be rescheduled and has now unfortunately been cancelled. The Stones concert promoters have worked extremely hard and tried everything they possibly could to find an alternative date or venue for the concert in Switzerland but sadly this was not possible.

I spent time in Asia in 2003/2004. I got used to wearing a mask back then. It doesn't bother me. Me wearing a mask at a Stones concert (I have worn them at many) is the norm. If others, choose not to wear one I am fine with it.

I found this on their website. Sorry if I missed a discussion. Anyone have insight on this? As the Rolling Stones celebrate SIXTY years in 2022 the BBC will honour the band with a month long of programming across their networks, including four special programmes featuring new interviews with the band. Stay tuned for more updates! Glad to see they are still showing Charlie:

I think the next show will be postponed as well. That will give 7 days. It is doubtful the doctors will give him the go ahead in 4 days. Most likely there is a protocol they have to follow. Isolation probably = no rehearsals.

Jumping Jack Flash from Ya Ya's. There is no better song for opening a concert.

I don't think Mick hates the past. He is probably just tired of talking about it. All of us have things from our past we remember trying to forget.

There are fireworks in the US for the 4th of July if you want to see fireworks. Most of us go to see the band. Anything extra like flames, fireworks, confetti, etc just enhance the band and are not a requirement.

I like Dean's reviews. Especially the one about the concert in Bogata. Please keep the reviews coming.

I think the song would be more likable if it were like the 78 or 81 versions. The more recent versions just seem too long. Bill played it better. Even without a solo.

This would depend. First on the venue size and configuration. I'd pay more for a 300 seat than a 3000 seat. And the set list. If all warhorses less that an off the wall show like Fonda Theatre or the 3 club shows I saw in 1995 with the more obscure songs they played. If they played Midnight Rambler 5 times back to back I'd be one happy fan!

The opening riff is great (usually) and from there is just goes downhill. I think the MSG version from 81 hits it the way it is supposed to be played.

They played Fool to Cry at one of the shows last year. It went over well. I'd like to see it again. Beast of Burden will probably win. Shine a Light will slow down the momentum in a stadium. Was ok for arena's but I don't think it will make it. I am mixed on No Expectations, but it doesn't have the recognition like some of the others so it won't win.

Well I am not dissing the stage until I see the first show. You never know what they may have up their sleeves. I remember in 94 the first time the flame shot out of the top it was a surprise. Also the way the 97 stage changed several times so we just might not know until after the first show. It does look like a pair of glasses.

Disappointment. I was hoping for songs not played recently. I guess this is what we'll be getting again. Next stop Madrid. It's a long flight from BWI.

I thought the same thing in St. Louis. There were times "where did that note come from" QuoteVoodooLounge13 Quotez QuoteRockman 'cause they can't be THAT good...or can they? Yeah man they are ... Only the Stones can be that good. On a rare occasion I do have my doubts, I must say. Especially during St. Louis, there seemed to be a guitar playing when neither

I agree Wyman's bass on Hampton is awesome. Imagination is just incredible from Hampton. You can watch Keith at the end trying to keep it going. Want to hear Wood and Richards weave listen to YCAGWYW. QuoteMathijs QuoteTravelinMan I have never been able to get into 1981 because it seems safe and there is a sax playing over everything the whole time it seems. The KC gig was intere

Hampton was where you really notice it. quote=StonedRambler] QuoteTaylor1 The Stones have never sounded as great without Bill. You can hear what he brought to the band on this El Mocambo release Although I'm a big fan of Darryl this release (at least the 4 songs til now) made me appreciate Bill's work much more. What really sets apart Bill is how he plays with the length of he not

I was at the Hampton show. Down in front. It all happened so fast. But I sure as hell know the guy who ran on the stage left with a headache. I remember reading something about John Lennon being killed a week or so earlier and that was one reason Keith hit him with the guitar. Something like "I am watching Mick's back" was his reasoning. Anyone else see this interview?

I personally think they have the album done and will release it after the tour. Once the tour is over they'll need to come up with something else to keep their names in the headlines. Look how much press the Pink Floyd release got from one song and think how the press will go after the first Stones album in 17 years.

I agree with this it is not Pink Floyd. My guess is they did it to first bring support for Ukraine and second to keep Pink Floyd in the headlines. Syd may have been the original guitar player David Gilmour was in the band for a longer period and played on their most successful albums. This was a band that required input from all 4 members. Without each other they were like a bird witho
