I saw them in Sacramento, on the last tour, enjoyed the show.
I got Pete's setlist, can't post a pic, if anybody wants to post it, email me. Forum: Tell Me
I saw Robin Zander years ago in a small club, and he covered IAON, I spoke to him after the show about the song, he said he played like the Faces, not the Stones.
So what are the differences? Forum: Tell Me
I love route 66, and really enjoy LSTNT.
I try to visualize Mick on such a small stage, not much room to prance around, I assume his finger was wagging alot during ADTL and Star Star. Forum: Tell Me

I was at the show in Victoria. Thought it was pretty rockin'. Cheap Trick was better than expected and Billy Gibbons really carried the show with ZZ Top. It was strange to see the bass tech replacement looking like a muppet corpse of Dusty Hill with the obviously fake wig and beard, but he did his job adequately. Billy's vocals were a bit buried, but he sounded a bit cragg Forum: Tell Me

I just saw them in a small club in SF. Damn good show. He tore up the set list and played. Show was a solid 2 1/2 hours. Glad I am going again tomorrow.
I went to the second SF show, very entertaining. Great version of Route 66, the night before he played Little Queenie as well. Forum: Tell Me
I snuck into a party by climbing tall fences and crawling underneath trailers to meet the Stones after a show in San Francisco in 2002 at Pac Bell Park. The stones were throwing a party for the crew as it was the last open arena show of the tour and they were downsizing and in an effort to say thank you they had to get together. I have been told they never did it before and never did it after but Forum: Tell Me

If I can get a ticket I like I am in for Oakland. Listen to his Back In The USSR story one more time.
Surprised he is playing Oakland, vs the fancy new arena in San Francisco Forum: Tell Me
Not a Kinks fan per se, never listened to rhis album before. Just tested each track, oh yea, it's a solid kissin cousin to BB.
Will listen in its entirety soon. Forum: Tell Me
I've always felt Heartbroker falls flat in modern day live shows..the keyboard tone doesn't replicate the original and the rest of the arrangement just sounds synthetic and falls short of the original vibe. Forum: Tell Me
