Quotestickyfingers101 is there an update on his health-status? A couple pages back BV indicated that Charlie has said he'll be back soon (implied prior to tour end as BV said they need to keep the 4th screen for this tour based on Charlie saying he'd back soon (in response to discussion about how 4 screens would/could be used))

Quoteguyrachel What I feel has happened within the mechanics of the band, based on the theory that the pace of the band’s songs has been dictated by the interplay between Keith an Charlie. I have felt that during the last 2 years of No Filter, Keith’s laying has improved as he has concentrated more on this playing and less on posing, consequently numbers like SFM, have been excitingly reborn in

QuoteStoneage Setlists do not matter with a new band on stage. They will sound different anyhow. Even the warhorses. I full agree with this! After going back and listening to Charlie’s drumming from A Bigger Bang tour and No Filter, there’s a huge difference in tempo. I’m not sure if the difference is Charlie driven or Keith driven, but I suspect that physically, it’s extremely hard for C

QuoteRokyfan QuoteNashvilleBlues I asked this a while back, and I don’t think I got a reply. Is there a contract yet for the 60th anniversary tour? And if so, I wouldn’t that contract be similar to the No Filter Tour contract where Charlie would be replaced, if he couldn’t play? Didn't get a reply from whom? All anyone here can do is speculate. Why would there be a signed contract for

Quotedaspyknows The question is If Charlie Watts had to retire would the Stones continue? We may be seeing the answer. Personally I don't expect Charlie to play again unless he really wants to. Exactly! I truly believe this is the test run because if anything has been proven over the last several years, it's - Ron, Keith, and Mick probably intend to play as long as people

QuoteWoz The tour will roll on Yep, Green Day’s tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer, then Guns N Roses as well have gone forward. Outside of festivals, it’s likely up to the individual artists. Only way Tour doesn’t go forward imo is if Stones decide not to due to potential PR backlash. That being said, I think they are hell bent on getting it completed.
