QuoteDbs1972 I was wondering if you've ever seen yourself in any crowd shots from that show...? Ive seen several which feature the first few rows. I've been hunting for these forever. It's kind of my holy grail. I know it's gotta be out there. Can you direct me to the ones you're referring to?

It's Mick Taylor's pose and shirt that I recognize. I noticed the same thing. There is a well-known Jim Marshall photo (I can´t find it online at the moment) which looks almost exactly the

QuoteRockman Hey vibrolux ......pleeeeze What was the feeling like in the place when they performed You Gotta Move ????????????? Really weird. A roadie brought the other microphone stand over and then all five of them came right to the front. Whoa! What's this all about??? Why are Billy Preston and Ollie Brown joining them? And then they start it. And it was very cool. Quite the s

QuoteChris Fountain Great Pics no doubt ... Why is it always L.A.? Do folks or concert goers not have cameras in other cities? Much simpler than that.. It's where I grew up. I was 18 when I took these. Just out of high school.

Back in the time machine, this time to 1972. The Rolling Stones were heading back at the Forum in L.A. I had gone to the late show in L.A. in 1969 and with no conscience and no security (hmmm...) I had moved from the upper bowl to right in front of the stage. Pretty ballsy for a 15 year old kid. After that experience, I was going to do whatever it took to get back to the stage for the

QuoteDbs1972 Wow! These are great, thanks for sharing. Photos appear to be from the 9th, 10th and 13th. (Am I correct?) I'm pretty sure about the 9th and 13th. I thought the other one was the 11th, but you might be right.

Wow! You're compliments have made my day! So, since so many of you asked, I added 10 more to the gallery. You want Wyman. You got him. You want to see the inflatable finger. You got it. And a couple real good ones that somehow didn't make the first cut. (Jagger with harmonica, and the b/w one of Wood/Jagger/Richards) I'm going to try an answer all the questions you'v

Quotespikenyc Great pics! Luv that 70's film look. Thanks for posting! BTW - how & what did you use to digitize all your photos? I have an old scanner that just takes to long, dont want to spend a whole day digitizing. thx I bought a little device by Kodak. It's called the Mini Digital Film Scanner. There are lots of products like this on the market. The one I got is not co

QuoteManofwealthandtaste Vibrolux, superb photos, thanks so much for sharing. The warmth and depth of the colours is so different to today’s digital images. Were you wearing particularly wide flares inside which you could hide your camera equipment?! No TSA style metal detectors back then. So it was just a matter of wearing a bulky jacket and looking as innocent and innocuous as I could. What r

Quoteexilestones IS there any easy way to download these great pics? I'll be totally honest with you. There have been a few times when I shared concert pix and later discovered that someone else was selling them on eBay. It's my pleasure to share them freely, and I'm happy if others want to share them with friends who may not visit IORR. But if you want copies of them, I gues

Quotegeorgie48 Hi vibrolux, You made many, who were on any of those shows very happy for sure. (In those days we/most non Americans didn't travel to other continents to see the Stones .. but I still enjoy the uniqueness of several the photos). How about adding your top 5 of Bill Wyman shots to make it a complete memory for the US fans? Well... I just didn't get that many shots of h

QuoteCaptainCorella The band must have sounded really strange without their Bass player. How did they manage? Yeah, they sounded pretty weird without their bass player, so I added a couple of shots with him.

QuoteHonestman Great story and shots, some unique ! I don't recall to have seen any pictures of ladies on stage during HTW for the whole tour 1975 I'm 99% sure that was Sympathy. I remember they had a procession of dancers and percussion players. You can see Charlie grinning at one of the percussion guys going by in the picture.

QuoteCaptainCorella The band must have sounded really strange without their Bass player. How did they manage? I guess someone's got to be a wise guy. Could have been me if it wasn't my post. I've got about 10 of Wyman, but as you may recall, he was pretty much a statue onstage, so the pix with him didn't make the top 20. Although his outfits were pretty funny back then.

We went to the late show. (Yeah, two shows in one night in those days. Wow.) As you may recall, both shows ran very late. There wasn't much in the way of security back then. Our seats were in the Col

Quotedmay Thanks. Nice photos. Isn't this the tour where Mick rode the giant penis and/or swung out over the crowd? It was at the long gone Cap Centre in Largo, Maryland, we saw the show that featured one or both of these events and I believe it was 1975. Yes, but not in L.A. I guess they couldn't do that, so they switched it out to a giant inflatable finger for the L.A. run.

Just found 200 pix from front row LA 1975 - Here are the best 25 In 1975, if you wanted great seats for a show in L.A. you camped out for a few days at the Forum. So when the 1975 tour was announced we were ready. We loaded our cars and got there a few days ahead of the on sale date. Back in the Stone age (pun fully intended), they actually sold the best seats at the ticket windows. Top price

Oh man. Like many of you, I'm supposed to be in San Diego right now. Pregaming and getting my Lucky Did mojo dialed in. I love opening night. You don't know the set list (unless you got there for the sound check) and it's usually a couple more tunes before they trim it down. Sigh. On the plus side, they're (hopefully) safe and healthy. I'm safe and healthy and I&#

I guess the litmus test is which song in the touring set would I be willing to give up to get this one in... JJF, No SFTD, No MR, No BS, No GS, No And so on. Next question, would it win a fan vote for a show? Pick from... UMT Bitch Monkey Man or Living in a Ghost Town I doubt it wins the poll, even if it were more familiar. So, it's a nice tune, some catchy stuff. Love C

Back on page 48 of this thread, BV listed stats to track to understand what's going on. I just discovered a very interesting website that gives some of that info, country by country... I don't know anything about this, so I can't vouch for it's accuracy, but it seems pretty consistent with the reporting I'm seeing.

Not nearly enough celebrating here. A few lucky ones have snagged their pits, but it seems to me that last time there were more than got through. Maybe we just aren't as lucky this go around. Maybe a smaller allotment for presale. I got through in Atlanta in 20 minutes. Pits were gone. Still waiting on Dallas 20 minutes in 2000+. San Diego will probably be worse, so most likely on to Friday.
