Don't judge TBK by their last two albums, go back to Rubber Factory and Thickfreakness. (And The Big Come Up.) I'm getting the impression that folks have the wrong idea about what this band's all about.

QuoteHarm Quotestonesrule To make myself crystal clear, I am waiting for the Rolling Stones to play Paris this year. ProudMary asked if I was going to Hyde Park this July. I'd prefer to wait for Paris. I was at Hyde Park in 1969. If I had been there in 1969, the Hyde Park concerts woud've been the only concerts I wouldn't want to miss....even if I had to choose between Lon

Damn, I nearly went to this, but thanks to spending all my money on certain people's tours . . . It must have been amazing.

Must admit I was a bit taken aback when at the first London show Jagger just introduced him as "a former member of the band." I believe he was a bit more expansive the second night.

Quotegotdablouse So it seems that the fiasco has come to a "close" of sorts...I guess the fact that they sold tickets with a proper description for the 13th and that most people who got T1s or T2s for the 6th are going on the 13th as well it does give a sense of closure. Not for me--I can't fly from the US again to go on the 13th--even staying on longer would have been expensive,

Quotegotdablouse Sure they could say, tickets will be capped at $100...but then you'd have people saying they can't charge what they used to, that they're washed up, too old, etc...at least the high face value shuts these idiots up. Not really, unfortunately--now people say that anyway, so it's the worst of both worlds.

Quotetriplelicks QuoteAquamarine OMG, the United Center isn't an outdoor venue, is it?? It's an indoor arena. Phew! Thanks! I'm dubious about them adding any extra cities, but Dallas would suit me perfectly, just sayin'. Nawlins even better . . .

I spent this past summer lining up for 12+ hours for shows, followed by 4+ hours of the shows themselves, much of this in weather over 100 degrees F,and I'd say for women in particular there is no better advice than make friends with everyone around you. Don't NOT drink water or you'll have a blinding headache during or after the show.

This point has probably already been made, but (and I'm not arguing about prices) the article's premise seems to be that people buy Stones tickets solely so that they can say "I saw the Rolling Stones." Wrong!

Hi, I was a member years ago, lost my log-in info and have rejoined! I'm having the same e-mail wrangles as everyone else (I was at the 1969 show, am damned if I don't go to this one)--as my small contribution, here's my latest exchange with AEG: Me: I have received a reply to my query about Tier 1 Stones tickets that is still not satisfactory, especially as I am flying fr
