Quotetreaclefingers QuoteIrix Quotetreaclefingers And if you happen to be watching clips of the Stones from the 60s, they would in fact be mostly black and white! But that's not what I meant. For younger people, decades-old films/music might feel old. Yes I know, it's just ironic. Isn't that ironic?

Mick sang flat on all of the HD songs live in 2024. Bizarrely. As in, he wasn't flat anywhere else. In 2012-14 he rushed the words for Doom And Gloom. So what's Mick's issue with singing new songs flat? Overdoing it? Maybe. Are the songs in a key that doesn't work? Unlikely. Mick's range is nothing like Bono's and Stones songs don'

Play them the album ‘The Rolling Stones’ (UK, 1964) and then let them decide whether they would spend their $25 on this album or rather on the next album by Taylor Swift (respectively a present-d

Forget whatever is done to the vocals and the horrific mastering - the sound of the album, the mix, the way things sound, it is. BRIDGES has a majority of moments. The more the saves his voice the more he stays in great shape throughout the whole tour. You can see this happen with the new songs like Angry, Mess It Up, where you have really long intros and of course if they would play 22 songs instead of 19, Mi

I think Eric is guilty of being lack luster with some performances, especially with Layla as you mentioned, but there are plenty of examples of Eric still being able to kill it with his solos, especially

So bizarre, someone thinking Keith's writing on HACKNEY is "kinda weak". Some songs are obvious what Keith wrote, the rest are on the fence or Jagger with Keith's input regarding styling. Driving Me Too Hard vs Live By The Sword and Get Close vs Mess It Up are perfect examples.

Quotelickskeith Or maybe it was ironic gaslight?? AC/DC has a fantastic drummer and bass player for the POWER UP tours - and Angus is, as always, in the top of his performance - so yeah, best live band on the planet for 2025. They're casting their own shadow. Fantastic back catalog, a "new" album and a great band compared to other non-Rudd versions of AC/DC in the past. AC/D

Rocks Off has always been a waste of time live - they ruin it every time. There are long songs, studio wise, that they've played live, perhaps within even the album time, like CYHMK and Worried that work but Miss You, JJF, IORR, Brown Sugar, Tumbling Dice and, at least in 1989-90, Satisfaction - ehhhh, extremely extended live, one tour is enough. HD is their best and most interesting creative album since BRIDGES and prior to that, UNDERCOVER. It's not an album for clown posers. Angry is fantastic - for The Rolling Stones in the 2020s. Better than Don't Stop, which is asleep at the wheel in comparison, and there's nothing pre or post Don't Stop that compares bombastically except Start Me Up: big memorable riffag
