Exactly. You should go get it! Another fun firsthand tale is Bills Rolling with the Stones with extensive background information about every record and Tour. Bill also shows off lots of his memorabilia. It was my first go-to encylopedia on anything Stones and is a much more satisfying experience than I had with Stone Alone his first book effort. Obviously I don't refer to a Kindle edition

QuoteGreen Lady QuoteTurner68 good to see he is going with a zippered trouser these days. those buttons always bust. Well, this is the Sticky Fingers tour - what else is he going to wear? Fantastic pictures, latvianinexile.

According To The Rolling Stones is a great read. You get the gist of several lengthy interviews (around '02) with all four of them. I don't know of any other book that has Charlie coming out of his shell that much. Plus it contains several essays from other notable musicians and their take on the Stones.

Tourettes oh my... Guess they should settle with Too much Blood then. Keith doing You Gotta Move would be nice!

Undercover of the Night wasn't that good in '89 or '02, but I maintain that this rendition is on par if not better than the studio version. It's the full-on three guitar attack with a sh*t hot Ronnie solo and cutting sharp Keith sound. And the best thing of course are the doublebass chorus fills from Charlie.

QuoteStones50 QuoteNikkei IMO Undercover revealed itself as a total keeper when they smoked on it at the Beacon. Undercover was cool during Steel Wheels tour And even "fresh on tour" back then! Playing it today would give a strong statement for their 80s body of work.

Quotejohn lomax I think the 2007 shows improved massively as soon as Keith shaved off that stupid moustache. I think for some reason that moustache was holding him back!! Sharp assessment. THe Keefstache made it hard to really look up to the man, I have no idea what he tried to pull off with that.

QuoteLongBeachArena72 I'd also like to point out -- in as enlightened and sensitive a way as possible -- that there's a hot topless chick right in the middle of the photo. What about her face makeup? A reference to a comic hero seems out ouf place.

Contrary to what is being said about 2007, Hamburg 15.8.07 had them totally ON, building up towards the final O2 shows. The selection was killer, we got LSTNT, Rough Justice, Rocks Off, Love Is Strong, Ruby Tuesday, Rambler and I Go Crazy all in one straight run! Great boots available (notably Hamburg&Düsseldorf in one package)

Quoteironbelly Great album. Reasonable mixture of blues, rock and experiments. Although, Goin' Home could be a bit shorter . If they would also include Paint It, Black on the UK version this would be their best album . Goin' Home IMO is great for being drawn out so extensively. They sort of set a new standard back then how an album could be structured. My favourite part of it co
