Aerosmith just doesn't have the pedigree to even be commenting on the Stones especially Charlie Watts.

This album does something that is hard to describe. If I have Street Fighting Man loud enough it can make me punch out a stranger and laugh at him. (I have never done this and wouldn't). You know what I mean though? Its truly the "evil" period of whatever was going on with them and its translated through that LP to those of us that get it.

Beatles late 67 thru the end - awful cartoonish music. Ugh. Beatles 63 thru 66 LOVE THEM, true innovators.

Nice. The related Berlin video plays a snippet of every song performed. Early version on "Cant you hear me knockin"!!! Clearly someone filmed the entire show.

Nick Saban is a huge Stones as strange as that seems. Saw it on an ESPN "follow him around" show a few years ago. Roll Tide.

Doesn't Mick understand after all these years that their fans love the warts!! Make these releases and understand the market is hard core fans (which there are PLENTY of) and we will pay.

If a Journey is in why not Herman's Hermits or Paul Revere & The Raiders or The Monkees? They all seem to fit and surpass the criteria (record sales and sold out venues) used to put Journey in. Except the 60's bands actually influenced future acts. Journey has influenced nobody or nothing.

I have long ago given up on the not really Rock and roll hall of fame. Their shabby treatment of many of the 60's acts that helped create the rock and roll platform is unforgivable.

Guests are beneath THE Rolling Stones in my opinion. Never has made any sense to me (other than MT in 1981 for obvious reasons)

I actually saw Chicago live in August of 2016 in Appleton, WI. Nice show, had fun but its hard to take them seriously. Its like having vanilla ice cream as your only dessert choice for life.

As a Stones fan I loved the boots from 75/76. Just never warmed up to LYL. I was 16 when it came and waited for months for it. It just left me a little flat. Not sure why. As a Stones live freak I have always felt guilty I didn't love it. To this day I am lukewarm on LYL (other than the El Macombo part)

I think they are one of the great r n r bands left at the upper levels. Like most, I prefer the 80's U2. Under a Blood Red Sky is their Ya-Ya's.

I love the Ya-Ya's cover. Charlie with Mick's hat, the guitar and drums on the donkey. Ready to hit the road.

Insert Ray and Dave into the Kast off Kinks and you basically have all the Kinks since the early 70's except the late Pete Q.

I have heard Auburn doesn't exist. What other show? I attended a record show in Chicago near O'hare at a Holiday Inn on Mannheim in 79 or 80. There was a guy that sold tapes. Usually nothing special. Crappy audience recordings that he wanted to much for. He also had some rare air stuff which he wasn't selling. He was big into Zepplin and the Stones. He was a braggart and suppos

The Stones are above this dumpster fire of a show/skit. The Stones have always used the elusiveness (to mainstream jack ass media)to enhance their myth and standing to great effect.

Back in the early 80's I met a guys at record show in Chicago. He had the rare air stuff. Most wasn't for sale. He claimed to have a recording of the 69 Auburn show. Claimed he bought a bunch of stuff from a yard sale near there and found the tape. His story was the student was in some AV classes and had wink nod permission to set up and record audio and video. Student leaves stuff

Sad to hear. He was one the iconic pre-Beatles American performers. Lots of catchy period tunes. His music was and still is loved by many. RIP Bobby Vee

VideoJames I completely agree on your logic for Ed Sullivan. He probably did more for RnR than most of the folks in the HoF. I think in realty the HoF is basically meaningless when you really get down to it.

"Another "lightweight" (i.e. someone with AM radio Top 40 single success) act is Tommy James and the Shondells. He performed as a sideman for Joan Jett at the RnR HoF when she played her version of HIS song, "Crimson and Clover" when she was inducted two years ago." Great point. Tommy James was a pioneer in late 60's crossover from AM to FM album tracks.

The RRHoF has been a pet peeve of mine for years. I have been strong and have declined to go when in Cleveland a few times for business over the last 10 years. My gripe is the gross oversight of the 60's pop rnr acts that aren't deemed heavyweights. Well, the reality is that acts like Hermans Hermits, Paul Revere & Raiders, Monkees (and many many others)really shaped pop RnR mus
