QuoteMelBelli There’s definitely an open G part on this track, but I’n hearing the main riff in standard — G to a C6. That was quick! Thanks Scott....Looking forward to the Ronnie stuff

QuoteCooltoplady QuoteMisterO I think we depending on Keiths playing ability we could see a three guitar lineup with Mick Taylor as the third guitarist. I would not rule out a similar Bill Wyman appearance like back in 2012 either butI doubt it. You're not serious are you? Where did you come up with that? Just speculation. Seeing as it was done once before I would not rule it out.

I am almost certain from that description that it was not Jim Callahan, JC sort of looks like Stu. I think your buddy the concierge is in a picture with Woody, Joe and Allen Dunn...lol I also believe I have Rowen is in the picture with Mick. E-mail on the way.... Do you remember when Mick walked out and someone asked for an autograph and he said "I'm not doing any signing t

I was there at the Weston back in 98. I was not at the bar though. Just curious what time were you a the bar with Mick? Anyway, I went up to Montreal with a friend who was there on business, so I did not have pay for the room. We stayed at a different hotel. While my friend was working I had free time so I went to the Four Seasons where I thought they might be staying. No luck and then I went

We will never see another Little Richard, plenty of imitations yes. He really changed the game. His appearance in Chuck's "Hail Hail Rock and Roll" showed what a courageous fighter he really was. I'm glad he lived a long life and am thankful for all he gave us. RIP Little Richard...you will be missed

QuoteVoodooLounge13 I really really like it! Been listening to it a lot today. I find it a continuation of the NYC feel. If SG was NYC for the 70's, and BTB was NYC for the 90's, I think LIAGT is very much the feel and groove of NYC in the 20's!!! A very modern groove that does harken back to some of those NYC-esque predecessors. Do I dig it as much as I did Rough Justice when

Instant Stones Classic......very impressive all around. This song will be a number 1 hit. Probably making the Stones the artist with the most time between their first number one hit and their latest number 1. I am so happy for them and for us as well. I know this has lifted my spirits.

A quick two and half minute video from Jerry Brandt. He was the former owner of the Ritz in NYC. Some of great memories from the Ritz include The Charlie Watts Orchestra . Chuck Berry with special guest Ron Wood. Bo Diddley and Woody. Mick also performed there but I believe it was the first show when it was renamed "Webster Hall". Besides all that, they also had Stones Video nights t

Quotestanlove You would think at 35:47 he would have realized it was a mistake. Definitely very scary. It looks like Jim Callahan (Stones security) who escorts Mick threw the crowd. I think after all the years of swinging on ropes over the crowd or the cherry picker back in 81, this might have been the moment where he said to himself ' I've pushed my luck enough.

I really like the Stones version of Cherry Oh Baby, but I have to say I like the Eric Donaldson original version more. Ironically , before this thread reemerged I was playing it almost daily. For me the best Stones reggae track is You don't have to mean it...

Just a random thought, but if this virus really gets to the point of the Stones having to cancel the tour. I would like to suggest a pay per view type show or shows. One show could be the standard show with the classics. And another show where we get to hear some of the more obscure songs that we the diehard fans ( A lot of us anyway) have long desired to see and hear performed live....

I've got a good one.... Chuck Berry at the Ritz in NYC (Forgot what year). At the end of the show while playing Reelin and Rockin, Chuck allows people to come on stage to dance around. At the time I weighed about 135 pounds and my friends used to launch me up. So now Chuck is the back of the stage by the drums and the microphone is up front and between him and the mic are all these peo
