its not actually illegal to stand on your own balcony and hear a stones concert, nor is it illegal to stand on a mountain and see a concert inside a stadium, now entering a concert venue without the correct ticket is illegal, but thats different.

something about hand of fate i like, its never a classic stones and dosent come from a classic album, but black and blue has always been regarded highly for its production value and hand of fate fits in with this, its one of those songs that just grows on you, you love for a while then forget about it for a while to.

the 2nd half of the 60,s was the best for music, amazing to think pink floyd formed in 1965, the stones were getting better as were the beatles, the doors formed, psychedelic music was the big thing, we had the who, hendrix, jefferson airplane, dylan and much more, i think everything that has come after 1970 was a watered down version of what came between 1965 and 1970. some of the music was way

i think the stones are nearing the end, not a big surprise if you consider their age and now this virus has hit and could change the way we think in future. people will not risk throwing as much money around as before. we may have seen the last of them, but if thats the case at least they have left us with a treasure of memories to keep us going for years. the virus dosent change that much

no one knows for sure when this will go and we get back to normal, if we ever do, i think the knock on effect of the virus will kill more people than the virus itself, things like effects on unemployment, homelessness, crime, society imploding, it could be like something from a science fiction film, this is very real though and i really dont think we will get any normality for a long time, sadly

i work for the NHS in scotland, yesterday a patient was told by a doctor he shouldnt have come to hospital and instead stayed at home, he is a corona suspect as he has the symptoms, in other news many patients with other illnesses are being discharged, wards are being kept as empty as possible in preperation for suspected corona carriers and many people who dont get non esssential surgery could

im hoping to see some roger waters, david gilmour and nick mason stuff in the next year or 2, ive been getting into early pink floyd these last few weeks, some of the early stuff is fantastic, but for me the stones will always rock better, louder and faster than anyone, but a bit of diversity isnt a bad thing now and again.

everything fades with time, maybe the youtube technology and modern inventions and some good branding will keep these legends in the limelight longer than previous generations would, but eventually, and as time passes few will even know who elvis, the stones, beatles and hendrix even were.

mixed emotions was the first stones single since i became a fan nearly 2 years earlier, i was looking forward to the new tour and album and was quite pleased with steel wheels when it came out but mixed emotions didnt impress me, its sterile and didnt do me any favours when i was trying to get my friends into the stones.

i dont care if the stones pander to the youth market so as not to be upstaged, does that not tell you something about how we perceive the youth market to be today that having a more mature opening act would mean a bigger chance of the stones being upstaged, dosent say much for younger bands, but does say a lot about a bunch of guys in their 70,s who still fear they can be upstaged.

in most cases i prefer stones studio output to live, but not all the time, yes i agree they have been uncoordinated live at times, sloppy, out of tune or even dull, but they have had so many great moments to, so i wouldnt say i dont get them live, most groups have struggled live at times in their career, the rolling stones can be awesome live at times, and have been many times in the past. they a

i saw a queen tribute band back in 1992, they were great, but they never called theirselves queen and never pretended they were queen, the name queen shouldnever be used in relation to any music band, queen are finished and have been for a long time.

queen broke up in 1991 when freddie died. if you can replace freddie and be the same band you can replace anyone in history to do the same thing, its not possible, queen dont exist anymore, dont matter how good the replacement singer is. i used to like queen but the more i got into the stones, pink floyd, the doors the more i realize queens rock music is quite bland at times, its loud and hea

sounds interesting, i got quite into early pink floyd recently, and discovered some of the best music ever, been reading a lot about them and my opinion is that pink floyd is not pink floyd without roger waters, they survived syd,s departure and the introduction of david gilmour but there seems to be just too many pink floyds, people talk of syds pink floyd, then rogers pink floyd then davids pin
