Quoteskipstone Even with that horrible Keith overdub? Wow man - you've got some strange taste there. It's quite obvious why that song didn't get finished - it's just not good. Too much like Paint It Black. He doesn't have a strange taste. It's a fantastic song. And it sounds nothing like Paint It Black.

Yeah, the best sax version is on Fast Talking but it has some tape hiss in the background. I think the version on Some Boys is the most complete one but the sound is not that good. That version doesn't fade out. It ends with some loud noises, like an airplane or something.

Acetates Fast Talking Mad Shadows Some Boys I think all those bootlegs have different versions of Criss Cross Mind. The one on Acetates is by far the cleanest sounding. The others are a bit muddy but they all offer something extra.

Charlie solo Charlie Watts Orchestra – Live At Fulham Town Hall From One Charlie The latter one is a stunningly beautiful box set. The other Charlie albums weren't released on vinyl for some reason.

QuoteCome On What can I say... the girl asked a question and if I may ask a question, why 5 ex of Beggars Banquet on vinyl? is it US UK and ? ? ? (Just curious to see if there is something to look after for my own collection) 3 of the Beggars Banquet's are original UK mono's (it's very hard to find really good sounding mono copy of it). One is original UK stereo and the 5th

From “I Can’t Help It” (aka “Love You Too Much” and “Shaved Stone”), a song Richards wrote about Anita Pallenberg, was first demoed in 1977 and was recorded again in 1985 as a slower, acoustic song with Richards on vocals and Ronnie Wood on steel slide guitar. This version is a fast-tempo electric instrumental." Didn't know about a slow 1985 version... is it circulating?

QuoteErik_Snow Thanks again Keessie, grabbed this one from DIME @MrsHop, me too always enjoy reading your reviews. I have listened to the DAC, but haven't compared it to Jamming With Stu, side by side, yet. But I bet that you are right in your complaints about the mastering done by DAC @dcba; completely agree about the music itself. Real dull material. The official product "Underc

I have never seen lower matrix than A3/B3 on the UK COC Sticky Fingers. Note that the CUN pressings which came in 1977 did have A1/B1 matrix numbers. But the OP should be aware of buying it without an play grade. These pressings were not the best quality and may look mint while they could play pretty badly (lots of surface noise). I've heard these German first pressings are better in a w

Quotevudicus Can anybody tell me if the vinyl quaility of "A Bigger Bang" is any better than the horrid thin and badly manufactured 2005 issue? Thin? My 2005 version of Bigger Bang is an extremely good pressing. Dead quiet and very thick vinyl, somewhere between 180-200 gr.

Quotebluesinc. A question, some lps has a copyright for 1992 & 1993, did they renew something then? I think the Sony contract ended back then. They signed Virgin in 93' or '94. About the quality of the box, they did exactly what I expected. According to your descriptions they made the LP's with the recent CD's releases in mind. Not the originals. That being said, if t

Interesting about Mean Disposition, it kinda shows they don't care about the originals. How do the labels look like? For example, Voodoo Lounge originally had just plain Virgin labels, they must look quite different now? And Dirty Work had those crazy picture labels.

This item has got nothing to do with the Philippine version of Exile On Main Street. The ebay item is an unoffical vinyl release called "Exile". Totally different thing. It contains the bonus tracks from the deluxe Exile On Main Street plus All Down The Line (Alternate) and Plundered My Soul (Radio version).
