I have this book it's excellent. I would like to see John comment on anything that has come to light since it was first published although I guess that would largely be the Exile bonus tracks. Why don't you use a good quality scan of the cover of the well known TMOQ boot Welcome To New York ? Surely not copyrighted ? Did JP go to Cotham Grammar School in Bristol ?

The Dead played three sets and the show can be d/l from places such as btetree and expands to 4 cds. This must relate to about 5 hours of music.There would have been breaks between sets.

Whilst I love golden era Stones, Zappa is my default artist of choice and has been since the mid 70s. Saw him live 4 times,seen ZPZ twice and have most of the albums plus hundreds of live shows courtesy of the folks over at Zappateers. Zappa fans are spoilt where live recordings are concerned as there is tons of stuff available.

I don't know what youtube clip has been posted as my pc can't see it but I've just looked at the 14m or so clip on youtube of local news reports from the day and I don't see any mention of rain. I don't remember any rain on the day although there may have been the odd shower but nothing to justify calling it a *rainy night in Bristol*.

I bought cdrs direct from Mickboy back in the day and most had problems from the off.I think he burnt discs at high speeds at a time when most pc's couldn't handle it and alot of his discs eneded up full of static. I am looking at an original SM Voodoo Edo 2 disc set on Mitsui Thermal (at least that's what it says on the discs)and they look fine to me.
