It's an historic show, certainly but not the best sound on it unfortunately. The dime upload sounds ok on Bitch but way too slow on Route 66 to my ears. Would be great to see an official release but I very much doubt they bothered to record it.

This was recorded at Earls Court the same venue the Stones played in 1976. It is not a 'theatre' as such. The Olympia is a smaller venue. Edit. It was recorded at Olympia but it's a large concert hall not a theatre in the traditional sense.

Has there ever been any confirmation as to who the announcer is ? I read somewhere that it was Bob Hope but I've never been able to find what it originally comes from.

I'm only going on what they have put on dime. They say the first tune is flawed but picks up to excellent sound and then there was a problem with the last four numbers which is why they were substituted by San Diego tunes. Apparantly the rest of that show is not available. Not sure as to why they asked you to remaster then have not used your remaster ? Was also assuming that MMs record

QuoteCaptainAcid And this is my remaster Hi Captain, Are the last four tunes from San Diego as per the current dime d/l ? It's funny how opinions diifer as you say the recording is not that good whilst JEMS says it is excellent. I haven't listened to it yet but thanks for what you do.

Hi Georgie, I haven't got much to add,I was only 7 1/2 at the time. I think I went down to the Central Library at some point probably 20 years ago now and looked through old copies of the local paper to find a review of the show.I also did this for the Leeds show as there was some speculation as to why the first two tunes JJF & LWM had never been available even in much later rebroadcas

I'm a 58 year old Bristolian just a few years too young to have been able to attend either of those 1971 shows at the Colston.Infact I don't think I've ever met anyone who went. I've seen a few pictures (not sure from which show) and the audience looks very sedate and middle class looking, all sat down. Reviews of shows from this era tend to concentrate on the behaviour of th

If you do bitorrent d/l the goody speed corrected version is still on dimeadozen. It doesn't include all the songs on the bootleg as some have been officially released and dime rules don't allow that. This is a straight reseed of a short compilation recently gone from the tracker, originally shared by 'chrispoor' with my thanks. Enjoy! Yer PervFesser ELVIS COST

I like the version of Heartbreaker on Bedspring Symphony but it does sound like it's going to fall apart mid way through. Just hope any GHS reissue is not another missed opportunity like most of the others.

I can't find any reference to Dunkirk Hall anywhere. Seems the LSU Assembly Center was opened on Jan 3rd 1972 and is now called the Peter Maravich Assembly Center,it holds 13,215 people. Ironically the venue Lynyrd Skynyrd were heading to when their plane crashed in October 1977.

I played the first disc today and in between songs it seems a bit weird like the sound is faded up and down. Also the band intros seem to miss Keefs intro. Just wondered if this is all on the master as I believe it's a Freezer recording and he was known for odd edits etc ? Can you comment Capt Acid please ?
