I love seeing how young mick and keith are, and how totally rock n' roll they both are. I feel that they are both a bit embarassed by Brian's singing, he looks self conscious as though he's trying to be cool, to be let in - or is that just hindsight ?

Clearly "complex" can be interpreted from a number of different angles, but it is fascinating to me, despite the Stones' reputation for a kind of simplicity, just how many of their songs don't conform to an easily definable form; they have lots of elements that are recognisable, but then their approach is so unique, and perhaps it is within this that makes their music attracti

Obviously complex is a relative term, I would say that although MR is simple in structure, it is involved, and the thematic/rythmic juxtaposition make it qualify as "complex" in my book, so any other ideas I'd love to hear about, could Gimme Shelter be seen as one?

I was thinking "Moonlight Mile" & "How Can I stop" as possibles, to my ears. I don't play an instrument or read guitar, so I'd love to hear the opinion of all those who do? Thanks.

Was as exciting as anything I can remember, particularly TD, which I adored BUT I suspect that if I listened to the tapes of that evening it would not be particularly impressive. I would like Mick to concentrate on more singing, less movement, more on performance and interpretation, and less on "pleasing" the audience, not an easy t

I think it's possible that they are not aware of quite how bad it is, they might even be inspired by The Who website, why not get Townshend to sign the petition OR EVEN BETTER inspire Jagger's business side by making the WEBSITE more PROFITABLE!

Find the "NEW" warhorses, a la "she was hot", make a new album, make sure Keith, particularly, is as dry as possible.

My new wife(Sept 24th 09) has said recently, having seen the Stones twice with me, No, sorry, three times with me, that it's high time we went to see the Stones again, to quote her "I can't wait!" So I know we are more than ready!!! Everything will go on hold! WHAT DO YOU KNOW???!

Don't much like Tattoo You, although think there are some good songs, hate the production, rarely if ever listen to it, patchy; Undercover, whilst it has some great moments is also very patchy, love She Was Hot, Dirty Work tarely listen to but love the grungy guitars on some tracks, rarely listen to Aftermath, but lovee it when I do partly because of Mothers Little Helper, but also the whole

Since 1977, wrote the lyrics to the song Some Girls in my Latin book, and my teacher said that I needed psycho sexual counselling. Saw them twice in 1982, Roundhay Park, then Wembley, bought all Jagger's solo stuff, love WS and Goddess. Saw them twice in 1990, first in Urban Jungle then the remount Steel Wheels, saw them in 1995 at Wembley and Brixton, saw them in 1999 at Wembley and Shep

most pop songs are trite, lots of course aren't, some are genius lyrically and/or musically, but it is the combination of elements that combine, trite or not, to provide a pleasing/thrilling/moving combination that may or may not be to your taste

I know this song has been damned by so many people, but I, who have been a rolling stones fan since 1977, just don't understand why it is such a reviled song; I think it's a really catchy, stirring power ballad that the band plays really well, and Jagger sings beautifully, in fact I think it represents sensitively a "mature" distance from the stuff of love, with Jagger as the

I listen, and have listened fairly regularly to the whole album since it came out, and I often play it on shuffle, so I get surprised by the tracks. There has been much negative press for the album on here, but the other night I finally decided that it is a superior album on several levels. I really enjoy the close playing style, and the stripped down quality of the band, although I think the

I really like Sympathy on Shine A Light, in fact I enjoyed Jagger's approach, and energy, in fact I have to say it's one of my favourites; think the punch of the song starting on the Steel Wheels/Urban is good, but still prefer the latter.

Absolute rubbish - this is is a contemporary vision of modern urban London. I like the song, especially the extended remix.

I must say it makes me sad. I think the band, all four of them, should look to their consciences, and make sure that Mick Taylor gets some kind of royalty, especially with all of the rereleased stuff, Ya Yas & Exile & Remasters, many of which have Mick Taylor's magic all over them.
