QuoteBeastyBurdeny Quotebitusa2012 What’s the sound like at Allegiant in Vegas up in the 300s, and in Seattle’s Lumen, again in the 300s? Thanks Rod I thought the 300s in Seattle sounded pretty decent. Can't speak for Vegas, as I've only been in the pit there. My experience in stadiums with a roof is you generally want to be close enough for the main stage PA to overpower any

Saw Willie on Maui last year around Christmas time and it was fantastic. They had Trigger loud and center in the mix. His voice sounds better than it did a few years ago when he was still smoking more. Lukas/Micah are amazing. Seeing him again tonight at Frost Ampitheater in Palo Alto!

Quotejahisnotdead It's all professional and slickly produced, as expected. All the songs are faithfully done. For young people who haven't heard them before it should be a nice introduction to the music of the Rolling Stones. That said, I'm not big into covers by anyone. I feel there's something a little special knowing that songs were originally produced by the artist perf

I agree even as a huge country fan that this was a pretty shallow attempt at a tribute. This was my favorite live country cover of the Stones: video:

QuoteIrelandCalling4 Bit of a Stones night here; watched TFI Friday special from 1999 (Chris Evan's interviewing), Work Five Years from 1986, and another run through the quality Salt Lake City show. Copacabana I've always liked but SLC is far better I think. Raucous energy, guitars loud and rocking. Mick stellar, as usual. Had a playlist on YouTube of a run of tracks from it tonight

San Francisco Bay Area got skipped in 2021 so hopefully we get a Northern California date! Levi's was OK...I'd take the Coliseum over it though just because it has so much more Stones history

+1 for HP2. Great from the Diamond pit. I can see being a bit disappointed in gold circle or farther back as Keith didn't venture out that way all night. Band was in such a fun relaxed mood, crowd was jumping from the first notes of GOOMC and the weather was perfect. I enjoyed getting LARS and YGR instead of an extra ballad or Ghost Town(which I like but had seen enough)...though Keith rippe

I’m betting on South America next. I know the SIXTY stage isn’t particularly popular, but it has the advantage of being significantly less expensive to haul around than other configurations…think of the South America stage from ABB tour and the more stripped back Urban Jungle stage vs Steel Wheels. Transportation is an issue down there and also power infrastructure at South American stadiums vs t

QuoteNashvilleBlues QuoteJivinSisterFanny QuoteTheBluesHadaBaby QuoteJivinSisterFanny Coincidentally--to me, anyway--just yesterday, I was looking into the most "Exile" songs stacked into a single set in recent tours (of the 5-6 still in rotation). There were these same four in Detroit in 2015. Damn near an "Exile on Main Street" 50th anniversary feature! Reminds me, I was r

Im betting the air conditioning messed with Mick’s voice. Those massive AC units dry the air out like crazy. I sing in a bar/casino band and used to wonder why I struggled with vocal issues at indoor gigs in the summmer…AC reduces humidity so much, especially traveling between gigs with van AC on full. His vocal symptoms during JJF remind me more of dehydrated vocal chords than any real issues.

QuoteIrix Quoteerbissell Which also has other charter flights in between similar to the A319 N342NB. The A319 (DL8917) can also be a N346NB (e.g. Charlotte -> Pittsburgh, 01-Oct-2021) - , . Yeah I'd assume for that plane they just get added to the Delta schedule so it wont be the same plane every time like the corporate jet the principals are flying on!

Confirmed, DL8916 is the same plane as 2019 tour, tail number N650DL. Which also has other charter flights in between similar to the A319 N342NB.

QuoteIrix Quotecampxray I'm confused. Is it DL8917 or DL8916? DL8916, B757-200. I would actually bet it's both now that I look at the flight trackers! DL8917 is chartered for the crew a day earlier and 8916 is the corporate configuration internally for the band and families. I had heard they use multiple charters in the past.

EDIT: N650DL is the band plane, same as No Filter 2019. Flight number is DL8916 when the Stones are onboard. https://flightaware.com/live/flight/N650DL N352NB seems to be chartered for crew the day after each show, which is a normal passenger A319, uses flight numbers DL8917 for the charter flights. More updates if we find them! Haven't seen this posted yet, just found on Flighta

The best selling live album in the USA ever was Garth Brooks: Double Live, and it came from a large amount of unnamed shows from 1996-1998 with a massive amount of studio dubbing. It captures the Garth live thing well, but is basically a studio re-creation.

Quotesteffialicia Quotemickschix This is a stab in the dark but here goes! On April 19 & 20, 1998 the Stones played 2 shows at the Molson Arena in Montreal, Canada. ( Now called The Bell Centre). I took the Amtrak from Albany and attended both shows. I stayed at the Westin Hotel, the same hotel that the band was staying at. On April 20, I met Mick in the bar/restaurant and it was an amazing m
