Just a question about this set which i puchased myself. Is this a legal release or is of the grey zone ? Seems you can obtain it legally.
PS: i have no problem with it being on this forum, Just wondering.
It is a legal release by dint of the material being transmitted on TV or radio over 50 years ago and never having been released officially. All songwriting royalties and pho Forum: Buy/Sell/Trade
My (extremely edited) review of HP1 and HP2 runs in the new (September) edition of Record Collector magazine or you can see it here

My explorer ran into 21 tracks Browned Off
Later today I will create a list on what volumes they are.
Multiple tracks were the same size, so I just copied the ones with differend sizes
Faces various tracks Browned Off
That is most kind thank you Forum: Buy/Sell/Trade
Both my BBC session versions of the track Oh Lord I’m Browned Off have a click running though them which I think comes from poor data transfer from the original vinyl transcription disc
The versions I have come from the CDs BBC Saturday Rock Show and Shake It On Down For Top Gear
Does anyone have a better version they can share? Or even the original transcription disc, I believe it was Numb Forum: Buy/Sell/Trade
I have discovered recently that if you open an account with FileFactory (no charge) and save the file you want to your account when you subsequently download the file it is much quicker Forum: Buy/Sell/Trade

"Due to problems with the German customs and postage service, I regret that no further parcels will be sent to Germany for the foreseeable future. One third of all parcels are being returned for no good reason. The returned albums are always damaged."
Is this a joke?
Sadly not. Blame Brexit. Sorry Forum: Buy/Sell/Trade

Let the IORR Band open and play songs The Stones won't.
oooh yes please
Alhough I expect the IORR band were surprised when the Stones played CYHMR at Hyde Park 1, "Why are they are playing one of our songs?" Forum: Tell Me
Glad you got it sorted. Unnecessary stress and hassle for fans and I don't see the ticket companies reducing their handling fees to reflect the fact they no longer have to print and post out tickets... Forum: Tell Me
I found my tickets - by entering my Ticketmaster email on the AXS app??? Anyway now sorted, phew. All unnecessarily complicated and stressful.

Today we were advised to complete all journeys on the District Line by 1830.
By 1840 they closed and padlocked our local station.
The advice is the same for Saturday so PLEASE do not rely on the District Line early or late. Tomorrow Friday should be “normal” if you are heading for Islington to see the IORR band (and you should) Forum: Tell Me

Any tips for cool record stores in town? Looking for 70s and 80s rock and hard rock.
The two stores in Soho are pretty good.
For Soho - Berwick Street - Sister Ray and Reckless Records
If you are in West London Notting Hill Gate Music & Video Exchange might be worth a visit (second hand CDs and vinyl only) Forum: Tell Me

Hello
My friend Paul cannot make HP2 so has has asked me to sell his tickets. They are Tier 2 and cost £380 each and give the best views available - see here
I have the tickets already sitting in my Ticketmaster app.
I will sell these tickets for a minimum of £200 each (you are welcome to pay more). The money generated in this way will go to Oxfam.
I would prefer to sell all three Forum: Ticket Trader
