Thanks! Interesting... Quotenorthof49 QuoteDuked So,anybody anything...? For what it' worth...In the book, The Rolling Stones, ALL THE SONGS by Philippe Margotin and Jean-Michel Guesdon, on page 580 and in reference to Terrifying, they have this to say, "Another important element is Matt Clifford's synthesizer. He can be heard producing vibraphone (or celesta) sounds

So,anybody anything...? QuoteDuked The song's wikipedia page lists an interesting info: "Nick Mason – rototoms", instead of what's written in the CD booklet (Luis Jardim - percusssion). Is it true? I can't find any other source about this. The wiki page doesn't have the source of this. But I believe this info (the Pink Floyd drummer played on a Stones song)

It was at gate 8. The security had a paper box there, many binoculars were there. Meanwhile, they let food in! So far about the strict rules posted here. QuoteIrix QuoteDuked It was no good idea, the security took away my binocular. Strange .... I've always showed the security my small binocular in the last 20 years and had never an issue. It was no good idea, the security took away my binocular. QuoteDuked Thanks a lot!!! QuoteIrix QuoteDuked Do you think I can bring in a small binocular? If its bag size is smaller than 21x15 cm (DIN A5) then it should be no problem. I'm using since almost 20 years a small 8x21 binocular (bag-size: 11x8 cm) at concerts and had never an issue at the security-check.

I'd like an 5.1 mix of just Start Me Up alone! I think Mick's overdubbed vocals on this track are unbelievably strong.

By the way the guy could be easily right: I love Mixed Emotions but the Chris Kimsey 12" mix (back then and still now) is freshier, more energetic and simply better than the album cut.

My favourite version of Brown Sugar is this rehearsal from 2005: This is a very loose version with Charlie & Mick at their absolute best! And without vocals and sax - but you won't have a feeling of anything is missing.

My current fav of the collection is Nobody's perfect. They should have released this on Dirty Work! A kinda "romantic ballad", with the DW - energetic Jagger voice.

This is the band that recorded the first, in the house it was recorded in. @charliewattsofficial @mickjagger @jimmyrip @dougwimbish" Does anyone have any info about this first version?

There was an interview with the band in about 2012 (?). It was quite a long ago, I don't remember what the other topics were (probably touring) but I can recall a moment: the camera was showing some old concert recording tapes (maybe from the 81-2 tour) and Mick was asked about releasing unreleased material. Mick said that it's "simply too much work", that's why they ar

It's possibly true, it may have been synced with a different audio recording. By the way, a soundboard version of the audio recording would be much better... In the 20/20 video of course they used soundboard audio for those few minutes and it sounds good.

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 even Bill Wyman looks up at Jagger during that 3rd verse. It is pretty extra ordinary how intense Jagger sings at that point. Exactly!! Mick got even Bill's attention that night which is really something!
