My Top 10 shows of 2022: 10. James Taylor - Hamburg: Great band, beautiful concert 9. Iggy Pop - Hamburg: Very energetic, nice obscure songs, Neu! cover with Michael Rother 8. Eric Clapton - Düsseldorf: Very strong concert, good sound + songs, E.C.'s good mood helped. 7. Dinosaur Jr. - Hamburg: Any Dinosaur Jr. concert will always get a spot in my Top Ten. Such a great band! 6

After a well deserved vacation I am coming back to the "controversial" Gelsenkirchen concert, the third and last concert I attended. Due to the Lufthansa airline strike I had the chance to squeeze in this show, so I am happy to have made it at all. I was a little bit disapointed that we only got two "surprise songs" (which were actually fantastic!) and therefore a shortend set

my second concert of the tour; great energy and much "rockier" than HP 2. Glad to hear a mixed up setlist, surprised how much I enjoyed "Ghost Town"... Other high lights: SFM, Bitch, Beas of Burden, MR etc. These old men... Unbelievable! A fantastic show... Some pictures:

It was so much fun to see the band again after 4 long years! Even though I was not terribly excited about the setlist (I could have done without Angie and YGMR...) the two Singin Sixties openers were cool, especiallybecause everyone on stage seemed to have a lot of fun. Midnight Rambler was quite interesting, very harp-heavy, stripped down to an almost album-like version. Overall I had a grea

Once again, a fantastic concert with two personal firsts for me. She's Like a Rainbow and Like a Rolling Stone. I had a great time on a chilly June evening, a little bit more distant then usual but at least a had a good view on Charlie all the time for a change... As you can see in the pictures, a good time was had by all!

Great concert, horrible logistics. Spotted Rich Robinson with his new singer in the Pit. A good time was had by all! I am really glad I went to the last UK concert on this tour. I don't think this was the final though, they seem to look better and better (especially Keith). Looking forward to the future...

Of the 32 concerts I saw this year, here is my Top 11 list: 11.) Bryan Ferry, Hamburg: An un-expectantly good concert! Fantastic performance with many (obscure) Roxy Music tracks. 10.) Metallica, Köln: A band on my bucket list, but these guys are so GOOD! Not a Heavy Metal fan, but I enjoyed every minute. Really, a great band… 9.) Eddie Vedder, Berlin: Nice and moving concert under sad c

Well, I guess, most things have been said, so I will just add that I had a great time again! I didn't vote for "She's so cold" but it was an absolute highlight. I am glad that "Dancing with Mr. D" was back in the set-list, this is such a good song. Finally, "Midnight Rambler" and "Streetfighting Man" were fantastic again, maybe not as crazely inte

Again, a great concert! I had so much fun, it was just fantastic. Midnight Rambler and Streetfighting Man back to back... it doesn't get better than this and it is worth the price of admission alone. At the end of SFM, Keith and Ronnie played themeselves in a frenzy and couldn't stop anymore. For me this was the epitomy of ROCK! Mick exchanged amused glances with Charlie, and it seemed

What a great concert! I believe this will go down in history as the "SETLIST-SHOW"!!!... Even though I prepared myself for this tour by reading the reports on the dress rehearsal last week and therefore was beyond happy to find out that we might have the chance to hear "Play With Fire" and/or "Dancing With Mr. D.", they still managed to surprise us on so many levels!

By the way, for a couple of days before the concert this T-shirt was available in some of Havana's stores: It must be semi-leggit, some kind of a Cuban governmental bootleg version?...

Since I have been in Havana many times before on work duties, as soon as I heard about the rumours of a concert in Cuba I knew I had to go to this show. And I did! Over all it was a great experience, however the crashing of the gates around 2 pm was real mayhem and the waiting in the sun for hours was brutal... Furthermore it was so tight in the crowd that I didn't manage to sit down even on

Quotewaterrats Ok, I'm back from the show - wheewww, that was a blast! I had FOS 1 right - which used to be the 'Keith' side. However, he mostly stood in the middle of the stage, so next time, I'll take FOS left! ;-) Great show, even louder than Berlin! Now MR is loading up to YT, I'll sent the link. After seperating the good from the bad or so-so pictures, I
