My daughter first saw the Stones in 2003 when she had just barely turned nine. She loved it as I had thoroughly brainwashed her by that point. I knew that after she told me she liked the Stones better than Britney Spears. No ear plugs, but then again our seats were on the side and kind of behind the stage, but it was fine. plexi

Well, I think the fall 2021 tour had tickets on sale at the end of July if memory serves and the announcement maybe 10 days before that. All this is subject to correction since this is just off the top of my head, I didn't look it up. plexi

Hehe, I never thought I would be engaged in discussions like this... - Doxa well, I would venture to guess out of sheer boredom with nothing really to talk about regarding the tour. plexi

QuoteNashvilleBlues Think possibly McCartney would join The Stones on stage in 2023? That could have happened at Desert Trip, but didn't. Perfect opportunity was when they covered Come Together. Instead, Neil Young joined McCartney on stage, I think during A Day in the Life (subject to correction here). But these are new times and I, for one, would love to see it happen. plexi

QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack QuoteBig Al Quotesyrel Quotepftw04 Do you feel Mick Jagger will sprint around at 80. Well maybe not. Did you feel that he would at 70, or 72, 73, 74, 75, 78 and 79?? Mick hasn't really 'sprinted around' the stage since the A Bigger Bang Tour. I do, however, recollect the occasional dash in more recent years, though. Didn't he do a bit of a sprint

At least it's not cancer or a heart condition. And they feel confident enough to reschedule for a few months later. Assuming the information is reliable and correct. plexi

Quotempj200 It’s an injury boys. The healing time is uncertain due to age. But they are working on rescheduling. Unfortunate timing. The band has worked very, very hard to get the album done. They will do everything they can to get this back on track. How did you come by this information? And how reliable is it? plexi

Quotebv Several sources are telling me the tour is being rescheduled. Still, several hotels right next to the venues on the planned tour dates are still either unavailable, high priced, or with no flexible booking option. If this is the case, guess I'll just have to stay a little further away from the venues. No big deal. And your statement indicates you already know at least some spec

Quotebuffalo7478 Cleveland is an easy 3 hour drive from Buffalo. Also a short ride from Detroit and Pittsburgh. 5 hours from Toronto. Plenty of places to stay. Plenty to do around town. The only negative of the last show I saw, in Pittsburgh in 2021, was the crowd's lack of energy. The band had 'it' still. That's not true at all. I was in the pit on Ronnie's side an

Quotebabyblue QuoteNashvilleBlues Quoterbk The tour supposedly goes from "June into September" which could mean a longer outing than the 14-15 shows we've seen in the last ten years or so. Consider it might have been Charlie that had them doing the (age appropriate) smaller runs He was the oldest and had the most physical job to do. Mick doesn't count because, well, he's

Quoterattler2004 Quotecrholmstrom I wonder who they will get for DT this year. Of course, the big talk is Springsteen. I could see them getting the Eagles for another day. The way our heroes are dropping, it gets tougher after that. I could see Stevie Nicks in some capacity. Perhaps they'll have to move up a decade or so. I'd say U2 but word is they're committed to the new venue in
