Gaz, I emailed you a decade ago to congratulate you on the killer job you did opening the Stones 2012 shows. "Everything was in color!" We agreed if I came to the UK, we'd have a pint and talk some Stones. Well, I'm on the way. That email address of yours doesn't work anymore. Are you in London? Can I finally buy you a pint? You deserve it! Frank

Hey everyone. I'm going to London for the first time and want to hit some Stones landmarks, but it is bit overwhelming. There are so many tours and I don't necessarily want to take an all day tour. Can someone tell me what I should and should not do? Good/bad tours... or even stops I can make on my own? What is worth it and what is not worth the time. Thank you so much!

What about the SNL when Ronnie Wood goes hunting with an uzi and a cocktail? Way too funny! Can anyone provide a link to that scene?

My understanding is that Keith was practicing with their new drummer before rehearsals started, so Keith showed up for rehearsals coming out what was probably some pretty serious practice. I can imagine Steve and Keith really working hard to lock in before Keith even started large group rehearsals. The hard work shows. And yes, not drinking booze all day long helps, but I feel he's been

I have never seen a worse Keith moment than when he comes in for a solo when they do Loving Cup with Jack White. Keith had absolutely nothing. I don't know why he even bothering... completely embarrassing. I wonder what Jack White was thinking in that moment.

I remember the 2005 tour starting out much better than it finished. I went to the third show of the tour at Rentschler Field in Hartford. She's So Cold was the third song of the set and I remember it really cooking, really guitar driven... a highlight of the show. It was a great guitar show, definitely not lifeless.

The biggest difference is actually the audio. Nothing sounds better than blu-ray... not your iPod, not CD, none of it. Even if you were only going to listen and not watch, blu-ray would be the way to go. The sound on the blu-ray is not even close to everything else.

It is easy to overlook, but Keith was great in the 90's. Keith was so good on those tours... Steel Wheels, Voodoo Lounge, Bridges... But the guitars were ridiculously good on the 78 tour. Just stupid good.

This dhgate site has a lot of cool stuff and is a fraction of the cost of Stones shirts today. What is this site? Is it legit? And are these real Stones shirts or some kind of knock offs???

Heart is one of my favorite live shows. Ann's voice is awesome, and I love Nancy's riffs, but the harmonies between the sister are great... if you're into harmonies, which I am. I also like the variety of the music. You get a nice mix of classic rock, good 80's pop rock, and beautiful ballads and acoustic music. Then some times Nancy will play an acoustic on a rock song.

This song always reminded me of the Bridges to Babylon album. It always "sounded" like that album to me for some reason. I always wondered if it was started then, and they just couldn't finish it or it didn't make the cut. Last night, I listened to "Already Over Me" off Bridges to Babylon. The beginning of Laugh, I Nearly Died and Already Over Me do start with th

I've been to Seattle a couple times recently and loved it. It is gorgeous, a great place to just walk around and take in the mundane... go out for coffee, lunch, a beer, etc. If you like good beer, I thought the beer at Pyramid Alehouse was really good. The food was good. The garlic fries were to die for. Pyramid Alehouse is right next to Safco Field, the baseball stadium. It would be

Has anyone seen how much tickets will cost? Normally when you log into an event on Ticketmaster before it goes on sale, you can see the price range, but not for these Stones shows. It seems pretty strange. I don't recall ticket prices ever being a "secret" right up until the tickets actually go on sale... for any event.

QuoteHairball As expected, these ads are oversaturating the airwaves now and tainting my own visions of the tune... Hate it when classic tunes are associated with advertisements - they need to stop airing it now! I always agreed, but with a tune like this something dawned on me... there is a whole bunch of people that have never heard this tune and never would have heard it. Now, there is a

100% agree. I love the 90's Stones and am pumped about these releases, but I can't believe there is no "Love Is Strong" on this release. I loved how they played it live. Not for nothing, but if you are going to keep releasing old concerts, have the new songs in there! Not just different versions of the same songs in different years! Again, I'm thrilled to get all the

I'm not clear... is this Voodoo Lounge show the next official from the Vault release? I'd love a Voodoo Lounge show on blu ray, but I wish they'd do a different show than the this PPV show that we have all seen a million times. I'd love to see a different Voodoo Lounge show that I've never seen. One little thing that bugged me the night I watched the PPV show that or

If he wants to play live, and Robert Plant does not, Jimmy Page should play live with Ann and Nancy Wilson from Heart. Heart always does Zep covers at their shows, and if you compare Ann's voice now to Plant's, the truth is that Heart does Led Zeppelin better "today" than Led Zeppelin can do LedZeppelin "today". Today is the key work, but its true. Ann kills these

Here's what I don't get. Why doesn't Jimmy Page play live? At the end of 2016, he said he was going on the road in 2017. It is now almost 2019 and I'm still waiting. And I'm tired of people asking about Led Zeppelin playing live. I don't care if Led Zeppelin plays live. I do care if Jimmy Page plays live. I have never seen Zep, but I did see Page/Plant in 19

Quotejohnnythunders Underwhelmed Then you must not have went to a show from this tour. I did, and they were incredible. It was the first time in forever they didn't played a gigantic stadium. For the Stones to player a smaller arena show, at that point in their career, made them seem 10 years younger and more engergetic. They were closer together and stage, and it made the sound even t
