Quotejbwelda QuoteErik_Snow The only one I can think of that comes close is the one with the naked 10 age girls, and Rolling Stones members dressed in nazi-uniforms. Wasn't that artwork by some sort of famous artist who made his living doing sensational paintings, and had a book of them? I think the version I saw was reprinted in a magazine somewhere but I seem to recall a big dustup over

Sometime ago I read somewhere that Keith had plans for an Exile single LP. I don’t how serious these plans were. For me Exile is perfect as it is but how could a single album look like? The idea is not to put your favourite ten tracks together but to create an album with a good flow. This is my choice. What would be yours? A Rocks Off Rip This Joint Ventilator Blues Shine A Light Tu

Fantastic stuff. But I doubt that all tracks are final versions. I've heard half of it now and there's hardly any background vocals, which is very unusual for the Stones. You can only hear Jagger. Anyway, great to have this. Memory Hotel early version?

Quotejohnnythunders Quotewerther2003 Quotejohnnythunders If anyone wants to buy this release you can order from [email protected] No good idea to post a mail address unless you have permission. I received an email offering this CD so... I contacted the woman who is running Andrè’s business for some time now. She has not given you permission to publish the E-Mail address. So please

Great song. I can remember that we discussed the lyrics extensively in an English lesson at school in the seventies (in Germany). I was able to contribute quite a bit on the Altamont references.

QuoteRockman Used at thee end of that all time classic ... The Big Lebowski Yeah, the late great Townes. One of the best songwriters ever lived on this planet. His Live-version of Dead Flowers at the end of Lebowski was the perfect last song of a great soundtrack. BTW: "... A tougher get was Townes van Zandt’s cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Dead Flowers,” which plays over Lebowski‘s closi

I remember that show very well. It wasn't my regular TV program at the time but I had to watch it because of the Stones topic. A snippet of the Respectable video was shown and the final master question was: Who was the father of the Rolling Stones? Instead of the expected answer "Alexis Korner" the guy said Muddy Waters. Alexis seemed a little disappointed when he entered the stage

QuoteRiffKichards Do you known if all his recordings are available on CD ? I only have the 3 CD set called Hank Williams the Anthology (I am French and bought it in France). I think the best you can get is The Complete Hank Williams box set. A fantastic 10 CD set released in 2000. An absolute gem for every fan. Sold out everywhere but you can find a copy on eBay from time to time. This

My mom died in march in the age of 96. After a life full of love for her familiy and friends it was a very hard death for her - over a week she vanished piece by piece. Fully aware what was going on. She doesn't deserve this. It was terrible for all of us. For the funeral we choosed a song that she loved so much: "Rote Rosen", some kind of a german folk ("Schlager") song.

QuoteKeithNacho Pathe marconi sessions should be released. All of them since 1978 to 1985. One of the best Rolling Stones age. A new group, a new style with the very same roots but with a new and fresh sound. A perfect reborn group ready to compete with punk and new wave . Maybe the best version of themselves I couldn't agree more

I bought the Start Me Up shirt in the early nineties for little money from Bill German. 3. The Keith shirt is from his online shop and was more expensive but I don't have to care about that anyway
