Quotedaspyknows QuoteTravelinMan QuoteGasLightStreet She has attitude, drive, spirit and she gives a shit. She does what she wants, does it herself and tells people off. I don't care for her music but so what. Any broken nail she has has more talent than Kanye West. I agree with everything except the Kanye West comment. You clearly don’t know hip hop. He doesn’t need to rap to prove he is

QuoteMisterDDDD QuoteSighunt ......Bruuuuuuce & the E Street Band!!! Can there be any other? Agree with the article I posted.. not eligible and/or discounted. "Discounting singer/songwriter driven bands (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band) in consideration for groups that contained individual personalities coming together to create,"

QuotePhil Good Not really looking forward here. John Mayall was really good in finding good musicians and putting a band together. But I never could stand his voice. He ruined so many good songs with his awful singing. Just my 2cts There are 2 Mayall CDs Live in 1967 featuring Peter Green. These are fantastic. Makes you forget the voice for sure.

To my great disappointment the vinyl box does not include any book or other goodies. Just the four vinyls.

Quotetatters QuoteTheGreek Didn't he tour for Stone Alone which I believe was released in 1979 ? No. He was planning to tour, and I even remember a date being announced at my local venue, a small club on Long Island called My Father's Place, but the tour never happened. Did you attend the Legendary captain beefheart gig there?

QuoteStoneage Never bought B&L nor did I buy Crosseyed Heart. And lo and behold, neither do I miss any of them. I like Crosseyed Cat though. That's my kind of blues: You should go out and buy some little walter if you did not already do so. Or just listen on YT where there is a box set playlist up. Marvellous stuff. B&L made me discover that.

Quotewalkingthedog It's holding up really well. Do we have a latter-day classic on our hands? I feel that every time the Stones step outside their comfort zone, it's always sucessful. As said before: it's a great song. Not that I don't like Scarlet and all the other stuff they put out since abb but this is to my mind the best thing they put out since rough justice

Quotekeefriff99 I'm a real novice when it comes to jazz. I have Kind of Blue and Bitches Brew by Miles Davis and love them, and I love jazzy/funky rock fusion. Any recommendations? I've heard Weather Report is a good band for that style. Obviously you can pick up more miles davis. The other ones to think about is Herbie Hancock: head hunters. Or ornett coleman: dancing in your hea

Quotejbwelda Band of Gypsies was Hendrix falling apart and that horrible Buddy Miles just made it worse. I saw them live once...most boring show i think i have ever seen with Hendrix involved. And when Jimi let Miles play guitar...i considered just leaving then and there. jb Amazing. You were there? Those shows are some of Hendrix greatest Though I'm a sucker for any Hendrix show after

I don't know how many of you went to a record store and picked up a copy of living in a ghost town. I did last Friday. It's definitely a totally different experience to spin this on a record player from just listening on YouTube. It's a damn cool song when played in the appropriate format. I would say it beats criss cross. Really looking forward to a new stones album
