I always skip the reviews until I attend my first show. Doesn't want to know anything beforehand and want the maximal surprise effect. I sure though hope they don't play too many pre-68 original tunes as I don't think those songs fit the stage, although they are great on record (MLH etc etc), alas as the tour is called SIXTY I'd love King Bee and Just Wanna Make Love To You a

They should use live tracks rather than the original recording I think.

Mr Liotta also shares the same birthday as Keith. He had so much more to give, would've loved to see him work with Scorsese one more time.

LIFE is the best well written one for sure. The language used in it is just pure music for my eyes and mind. ".....very Hergé...." Nuff said!

QuoteBig Al Quoteslewan QuoteBig Al So, let me get this right: we’re all squinting hopelessly, trying to figure-out Ronnie’s scribbles, when the focus of the picture should be the beautiful Sasha Allen? Is everyone here bonkers? Or am I the only over-sexed one, here? we are old men, ya know… Ha-Ha! Well, yeah. It was tongue-in-cheek I'm with ya Big Al!!

Yeah we should've had The Hellacopters back. Thåström is from the south of Stockholm and his songs and lyrics are million miles away from where my head's usually at. ABBA's "Abbatars" would've been great! Plus they don't require a rider... As axl79 points out there are loads of great pubs in the nearby. One of the best ones are "Eken Krog", next

It was such a relief when they didn't play Paint It Black during Licks, it is not one of my favourites but it is a fun song to play on the guitar. I love it when Keith did his "quiet protest" against YGMR by playing IYCRM before it (switching spots for the songs) at a couple of arena shows in 02-03, I agreed completely. OPEN up with Satisfaction rather than finish with it obviou

Melbelli and StonedRambler ya both mean the 355 right? I love the P90 sound he gets outta those Juniors with the Fender Twin, it suits the songs. He can't play Tele on EVERY song can he?!?!? It would be boring IMHO. A standard Les Paul is no good, to heavy to carry and it ain't the tone for Keith's parts.

Quotebam "I love Hand of fate - a treat." Agreed. This version takes HOF from a decent song to something special. "Decent song"? It is one of their best IMHO, sounded great in '76 as well as in 2002-03. The Cirkus Stockholm version is a killer, so is Paris 6th of june 76. Beats most other Stones tunes, the lyrics are almost Dylan-esque and the riff is one of thei

QuoteElmo Lewis After one listen through, my response is WOW! The energy! Ronnie's playing. Watts and Wyman (Bill was on top of his game)! Of course, The Glimmers. Hell, even ole Billy Preston sounds great! I also love the production values. More like Bob Seger's Live Bullet than the recently releases live stuff. Most of these versions beat LYL totally. All around - A+

Put Dice as the finishing song (9th or 10th) before the intros and mix up the song choice before it with a soul tune like ATPTB/Imagination/Trouble's a Coming or every second show a country tune like SV/FA or perhaps DF.

Considering this is (probably) the last time the prices ain't high. As far as a "bubble" is concerned, yeah, once The Stones, the Dylans, The Whos, Maccas, Liams and Noels, Springsteens, Axls 'n Slashes, Buddy Guys, U2s, Snoop Doggy Dogs etc etc are gone there won't be f**k all to look forward to concert-wise. These are the last days of the legends but there's still

QuoteJumpingKentFlash I absolutely love how they’re playing. It’s killer! But what in the name of all things holy was Bob Clearmountain thinking with that mix? It sounds like it’s in a stadium. The club intimacy is nowhere to be found. What’s even worse is that in between songs you can hear it’s in a club. When the music plays it’s very different. It’s really a strange decision. I would have expe
